I have a clothing store where i will be selling a clothing brand but not my own brand and i need some suggestions on what i can do for my own store site images, because obviously i dont want to reuse other peoples photos for copyright reasons.

This is what i've tried:

1. I have looked into hiring a few models to wear all clothing i'll be selling and ive contacted a few models who are interested, who will do £10 per a photo. But ive decided not to persue hiring models because itll cost too much for all the photos for each clothing, i will be selling and including the cost of all the clothing i'll buy for the model to wear.

2. My other option that ive considered thats cheaper would be to use a ai clothing swapper tool which ive found quite a few websites, that will change the clothing in a photo from another photo and swap the clothing in photo, that i want to change.

The only issue with this is that a lot of these ai clothing swapping tools are overpriced crap like $50 just for 20-60 photos and they dont always do that much of good job, with replacing clothing and they mess up the feet and hands.

3. Ive considered hiring a freelancer to swap clothing in a photo but they all charge too much just for 1 photo and most people on fiverr, dont even offer clothing swapping services just some crappy clothing colour changing services which can easily be done online for free.

What are my other options what can you suggest for me, i wont wear clothing myself to take the photos and i dont have anyone i know who would wear the clothing and the idea is not to use any copyrighted images, it cant be random royalty free fashion photos because they need to show clothing im sslling ?

The thing about business is you either pay with your time or your money. If you don't want to spend $50 for 20-60 photos then I'd say learn how to use Stable Diffusion. Get yourself a good video card (or a Tesla M40 plus a GTX 770 and swap the cooler over). Hands and feet are just something AI just does badly at this point, so you'll need to learn how to use the appropriate checkpoints, LoRA's, etc. or crop the hands and feet. Probably takes a couple weeks to learn and $100 for a M40 if your existing hardware can't do it.

Or spend the money. They're charging because they have the knowledge and equipment that you likely don't possess. TBH, $50 for 60 photos is pretty cheap, I sure AF wouldn't do it for under a buck a photo. 60 photos, done well, is going to take over an hour to mark up and process. If you want cheap, you're going to get cheap work. If you want good, you'll pay for it. I could make you photos that you'd swear she's legit wearing the clothes, but it would be like $5 each photo to make it worth my while.

It seems to me like your options are on the table, you got to pick one because you're not getting this miracle you seem to be after where each photo costs 25 cents and is the best quality; the thing with AI is it hasn't worked down stream yet. You don't have the people in places like India doing this work for 10x less.

You are probably better off hiring someone to do it for you than use
AI. You have to be aware though that what you want isn't cheap and may
cost but it's better than doing AI and not getting what you want or
paying for something cheap and get something of the same quality.

Hey,

I Understand your struggle and here are some budget-friendly options for your clothing store images that you may really find helpful:

Mannequin Photography: Buy a mannequin to showcase your clothes. It’s a one-time cost and avoids copyright issues.

Flat Lay Photography: Arrange clothes flat on a surface for stylish, professional-looking shots.

Virtual Try-On Tools: Use apps that let customers see clothes on virtual models. Affordable and efficient.

Influencer Collaborations: Partner with influencers to model your clothes in exchange for free products or commissions.

DIY Photoshoot: Use a good camera or smartphone, clean background, and proper lighting for quality and Enhance photos.

3D Modeling: Create digital representations of your clothing for versatile, reusable images.

Student Photographers: Contact local photography students who might work for lower rates to build their portfolios.

Hope this somehow helpful help! Good luck with your store!

From my experiance, highest quality it still be $3-$5 per photo for full realistic images what is still much cheaper than real photoshooting.
