Problem with target audience in order to sell products/services

I'm using Tiktok, Instagram and others social networks for almost 2 years. Recently I converted my accounts to Business account.

In my campaigns I'm trying to focus only in Tier 1 countries like United states and Canada , in order to find people with more "purchase power" and more potential buyers.
But people from Tier 3 and 3rd world countries still appear all the time showing up in my reels and videos (around 95% are 3rd world countries).

There is any way to fix that and configure Instagram ads and Tiktok ads correctly to ONLY show to Tier 1 countries?

Portugal. People here are poor, they don't buy much online and purchase power from Portuguese people are very low. So I'm not intrested to focus in local audience.
I just need people with more purchasing power and more tendency to buy things, and I just see the Tier 1 countries as the only option..

not in my case. My domains are all of them .com and I use only English language in my IG profile and my videos are all english speaking. Only the physical IP is from portugal.
My followers are most of them from USA , UK, and Canada but unfortunately I have only 600 followers so it doesn't help me with sales.

So I really need paid ads and a solution to focus only in Tier 1 countries. What you recommend me to do? what the step should I follow?

when I use paid ads more than 90% bug somehow to 3rd world countries.
from the target audience I choose (Tier 1 countries: USA, Canada and uk) to Tier 3 countries like India, pakistan, nigeria, kenya, Afeghanistan, etc...
If I dont use ads I got almost no views. probably only 40 views from followers. usually normal situation with only 600 followers.

Well in that case the reason is the ad network itself, it is probably cheap to use, but doesn't tell you at first that all those cheap views and clicks go from Tier 3 countries

What I can suggest is changing ad network and getting some marketing insights from your subs from Tier 1 countries

That's where I cannot help, unfortunately( ad networks really vary in specifics depending on geo, type of audience etc.

Try googling ad networks for Instagram that bring clicks from Tier 1 countries

Im very concern because yes I already tried google ads , bing ads, facebook ads, quora ads, outbrain, Pinterest, Twitter ads, etc and almost nothing works.
Even choosing best seller products and a very well designed site and well written with high quality content, most of the times I got negative ROI. so I'm in loss.
That's the real problem I dont know which paid ads platform should I choose...

You need to refine your ad settings. For Instagram, use targeting to include only the US and Canada. Exclude other regions.
On TikTok, use the targeting option in the ad group settings. Set the target countries specifically to the US and Canada.

going try that. have to exclude option tons of countries so. sometime audience sliding to tier 2 and tier 3 countries without I consent it.

Some aspect that I found weird in this forum is nobody here complain about the growing and growing audience that naturally come from 3rd world countries like india , pakistan, kenya, etc on all big social networks and forums flooding marketplaces with crap, and ruin a lot of business from people from Tier 1 and tier 2 countries that want sell and do business (nothing against those countries but facts are facts!)

I write this thread because I'm often being harmed by 3rd world countries in many ways specially in my sales...

For ex.: I write a thread on Reddit about a topic related to Tier 1 countries and related to industries on Tier 1 countries and I get flooded with comments, useless non relevant opinions, and spam, from people of 3rd world countries. That are happening constantly in the last 2 years. that's horrible TBH and its getting difficult make connections through social media with Tier 1 audience!

Anyone notice that too?.

yes I have few sales but 3 times less comparing to 5 years ago.
Also 90% from sales are only tier 1 , and the other 10% european countries only.

But besides the drop in sales using instagram ads I got lot of DMs from people from 3rd world countries boring me with stupid questions asking for products for free, huge discounts and never ending questions about products during hours and hours to end up they don't buying nothing! that's too common nowdays!
