Need help: delete my domain from Wikipedia spam list

I am a lawyer and run a reputable website. Nevertheless, I obviously overdid it at one point to set a backlink and was banned worldwide. The site can only be unblocked if experienced, active and long-standing members campaign for it. Who can help?

Nowadays, social media influencers are getting their own wiki pages. You should've tried to get your wiki page and website through media coverage and press releases. It's difficult to clear from spam list. You can try posting in WTB section to find more sellers.

Yes, unfortunately. And I got fu**ed with my 3rd backlink. Seems to me that Germany is by far the most regulated Wiki with the most "Sherrifs" controlling everything...

So how being in this Spam List affects your website?...Wikipedia links are useless anyways... did you see any negative movement in G search after being added to this list?

Are they? To be honest I do not see an impact, but having made a lot on my site I cannot tell whether it was because of the other improvements or not... Thought it was good for my EEAT having a YMYL business...

It used to be 5 links and they no longer allowed your site to be linked from Wikipedia.

Now, it is 3?

oh, no. I had an German BL and an English one. And when I tried a third (or maybe fourth, not sure) Backlink in the portuguese version I was banned for "cross Wikipedia spam". So now it's 0...

That is not going to be an easy fix I would presume.

I would post in the hire a freelancer subforum and pay someone that is a Wiki editor to help you out.

Yes they are useless....wiki links gives you a small boost in authority in best case scenario.

Yeah, they lost their luster some time ago and I'm sure it is because many of us just gamed them for links to our sites.
