Can you send emails with a catch-all email address ?

So our client has the email domain hosted in DirectAdmin. I was wondering since the primary use for a catchall is this:
For example, if your email address is [email protected], but someone tries to email you at [email protected] or [email protected], we will use a catch-all to forward these messages to the correct address instead of having these messages returned as undeliverable.

But can such email address be used to send emails in a campaign as the sender FROM email?

What's your experience with this?

If I am not wrong, it is certainly possible. However it might affect your deliverability and your emails may end up in spam

What if we have all the DNS parameters configured for for the catchall email domain on our dedicated server with clean IPs and never send cold emails with it; only replying to potential buyers' emails with the catchall address?

I can't guarantee you but I think that should mitigate the risk of low deliverability to a great extent. If this is a very serious topic, you might want to test things out on a dummy domain to see how deliverability rate is.

sure, you can send email with your catchall email, for example:
You create 3 email address: [email protected], [email protected] and [email protected] then you make [email protected] as a catchall email.
1. you can send email from all 3 email address
2. If you send email from [email protected] then the sender will be [email protected]
3. If you send email from catchall email: [email protected] then the sender will be [email protected]

You can.
First you need an main email which using your example would be [email protected]
then you set up the catch-all to forward all emails to your main email.
If you want to reply from any of emails that you haven't created, you can just create one on the fly.

Which email are you referring to here?
[email protected] (the main)
or the catchalls that was most likely misspelt ?
[email protected] / [email protected] ?

because as mentioned earlier, if you don't create an email for that, you cannot have them sent "from" those catchalls.
There are services that makes the process a lot more streamlined like addy.io where you have your main (which is [email protected] or any other email of your choosing) and [email protected] (everything stands for any kind of variation possible) will get forwarded to main email.
Then, when you reply, you will reply from the variation it was sent from (from your main email address).
