New design is awesome but not easy to read content, have readability issue with dark theme

I guess there were some changes done recently, the white theme looks good now and I've already adapted to it. Keep up the good work, everyone on the team that got this done.

I don't have any suggest for new style, but I have an idea for BHW forum. It is keyword alert for VIP member. It mean that VIP member can get alert when some one posted , commented and have keyword in the post / comment. this is very good feature

There doesn't seem to be enough space for that. It would be too cluttered. That's why we have "Previous" and "Next" buttons

I see there is not enough space but this way looks harder to navigate it used to be easy. Desktop version is old style and looks very easy and good

The hover state for notifications & messages dropdown adds a light background to the element & the text link color changes to red.

This isn't an ideal color combination as the text becomes difficult to read.

My suggestion either remove the light background from hover state and only keep the red color for the text link or replace the light background with dark black so that the red is easier to read.

It had a certain charm that I'll miss.

What can be done about readability? Its now strenuous on my eyes to read BHW, particularly the alerts dropdown. Maybe its a combination of the smaller font and gold colour of the alerts dropdown. Is there a way to adjust things so I can read better without straining? In my opinion, the previous Black theme is more readable, even though this one is nice. if the option to switch themes is available, would like to use it..I just need readabilty without straining. This is PC based feedback by the way.
