Hi! I've got an AI/ Tech blog pulling about 1k visitors daily. How would you bring affiliate marketing into your blog without looking scammy?

There are some pretty sweet affiliate programs in the investment branche atm that I want to capitalize on without making my blog lose too much trust from readers. Maybe AI Porn is the better route to go? Thx for your input

Is the traffic organic? Why are you not putting adsense till you figure good affiliate options?

You can use Google AdSense in the meantime. You can also check what competitors are doing for earning.

Don't over do it with affiliates.... a lot of affiiate website got hit badly after recent google update. Unless your traffic is not mainly from google?

With 1k visitors per day you can apply for better ad display networds than Adsense. ( Mediavine Journey for example.)

And I would find affiliate programs that are related to your content so recommending them will look natural. You can test the offers yourself so that you won't promote garbage in order not to lose your reader's trust.

If it's just a tech blog, don't put porn on it. Why not ads? Mediavine? Or create a digital product using AI and sell it yourself. Create a news letter and you can sell them anything, even if Google decides to wreck your blog.

I would write a java script to bring up an offer with delay, something like content locker (from CPA)

If your visitors average is 2:40, make offer appear after 34 seconds example.

Description: Offer appears in the middle of screen, like a smaller landing page with only few details about the offer, and background goes blur/darker, so offer can shine. But obviously, there should be an X or clicking at background to close the offer, so not forcing them to do anything.

If they proceed (click an offer) they see what you advertise. That method should work well, without any other ads visible on the page.

I mean, you can try it. Good luck.

Really? As you write post you naturally mention different sites and tools. You can insert your link when you mention the tools or sites and your readers won't mind it. It's up to them to check it out, use the tools/site or not.

Another way is to create top ai tools and resources page. Make a list of ai tools/site for different tasks or categories. Just put few lines intro and link to the site or tools. Don't just list one website or tool in the category, give them alternatives too if there is.

If you have how to posts, then it's natural to mention what best tools to use.

Promoting products or services unrelated to your blog's niche could risk appearing disingenuous and may erode reader trust.

If your traffic is from US or other tier 1 countries, you could monetize with display ads and/or amazon links. Depending on how niche specific your blog is, you could promote specific products on your site.

The fact that the investment affiliate programs pay well doesn't mean they'll work on your website. You should promote products that would work with your audience. You can't force your audience to buy something they neither want nor need. But you can promote something they are already interested in.

Tech blog pays well with affiliates. Why are you targeting completely unrelated niche affiliate products ?

You should stick to traditional ads like adsense until you grow your site. You can slowly integrate affiliate offers instead of pushing them all at once on the face of your visitors. Your revenue should grow over time for a healthy niche site. Don't go overboard like adding adult content just because visitors are adults. This may prevent many people from using your site due to NSFW problems. So, stick to traditional methods unless you want to eventually make it into an adult site.
