Hello everyone! I'm a newcomer, not only to the forum but also to affiliate marketing, and I'm looking to achieve my first results in this market. As a beginner, I know the basics and understand the concepts, but I've never made a sale as an affiliate. Can you help me? I struggle to identify a good product to promote as an affiliate, or good platforms with a good range of products. I would like to try my luck with an infoproduct. What worked for you?

I'm trying to change my life and overcome debts. The difficulty in getting money has made me consider giving up and has been eating me up inside, but I won't give up!

If there are spelling errors in my text, I apologize, English is not my native language.

start with google trends, see what's hot right now

I know where your coming from, but my sites mostly got hammered, and I'm building up my affiliate earnings once again, by spending more time creating good linkable content for my sites. Besides that I'm in the middle of consolidating an affilaiite linking strategy.

There are so many affiliate programs and many places to promote them, especially popular web 2.0s and forums, that you can market for free on.

Pick 2 or 3 different niches, and build 1k article sites around those niches, (don't make a celeb site, a pro sports site, or general content) There are millions of niche topics, when you go randomly subreddit jumping on reddit you can find, and you can measure interest that way too.

Don't expect to write your site in a month with ai content. YOu need to spend more time working harder than 80% of the people that are using automated solutions, and write better than them. Which is easy if you know chatgpt well enough.

So basically, you've been focusing on working on your online presence in various ways: Social Media, Blogs, Forums, the famous "Organic," rather than emphasizing paid traffic, is that correct?

It's simple; get an audience through any means necessary and sell something to them.

Today, what I've learned about the affiliate market are things that people were already doing 1 or 2 years ago, maybe even more. I feel like I'm quite behind, and apparently, the market doesn't work the same way I learned anymore.

If i knew paid traffic i would happily use it, but I don't, so I prefer online marketplaces that are free to use, where I can promote links and content there. If I could remake a steady income again through affiliate stuff, I would test putting in paid traffic as a backup traffic source, sure.

Have you tried paid traffic?
I have a good understanding of Facebook ads, I've tried promoting some products with the limited budget I had available, and I even got good metrics, but I didn't convert any sales, and now I'm hesitant to promote another one. I think I lack the knowledge to identify a good product to promote.

At the time, I chose the weight loss niche, but it was basically what everyone else was doing.

Remeber for paid traffic

You have to start small and scale up if you scale up from the onset

If have fear for it

Would you say that a basic setup, like an Instagram, a Facebook page, and paid ads, still bring good results, or is that outdated now?

What basics do you understand?

If you truly understand the basics then you will know how to select good products and the platform to get profitable offers. (These are the basics).

Finding good products DEPENDS on the particular affiliate network because each of them have "products selection criterias like conversion rate, refund rate, number of units solds etc".

I would advise you to familiarize yourself with the particular affiliate network of your choice before you start.

And all the top affiliate networks have different profitable offers that you can choose from. (Identity your niche and go for the affiliate network that has your type of products).

Regarding affiliate networks, which platforms are currently popular? I've been focusing more on info products.

When I talk about basic principles, I'm referring to how Facebook ads work and strategies such as campaign creation and objectives, sales funnels, triggers, and I also have some understanding of social media management. However, my knowledge is unfortunately theoretical as it hasn't led to a sale.

Some times that happen when you choose a wrong location to target your product
