Can redirecting expired authority domain to other domain, can increase the keyword ranking?

Is it worthable ???

If you have never successfully done it, then don't do it. It's not a rocket science, but people have a terrible judgement when comparing niches of domains.

It works better in some countries and some niches, but it's not a miracle technique and there's a higher chance of screwing up your site than getting any benefit from it.

Redirect expired domains for seo maybe but choose well like good backlinks, no spam, relevant content. Focus on quality links and content for lasting SEO benefits.

Redirecting expired domain to another domain might help you to increase the keyword ranking but its not 100% sure.
Focus on relevancy and quality of content it matters.

Using an expired authority domain to redirect to another domain could boost keyword rankings if it's done right, but make sure that the old domain matches the new one and has good quality backlinks.

if you talk about increasing DA from Moz, yes its still work

Google proudly proclaimed that links no longer have an effect and redirecting domains won't transfer any SEO benefit, for like the 18th time.

So it probably still works fine.
This sums up SEO for 2024. Do the opposite of everything Google reps say.

The most recent Google update's impact on expired domains has not fully played out yet.

There are still a lot of sites that, by some miracle, survived the onslaught, but it's anybody's guess how long they will continue.

If you're looking to use the same, old tricks using expired domains, keep in mind that the clock is ticking.

If you still insist on using expired domains, at least put in the time, effort, and resources to use them properly.

In other words, fully resurrect the site.

Stick to the same niche.

Invest in whatever you need to post quality content.

Invest in providing the same experience that that dead website used to provide before.

Otherwise, you're simply just rolling the dice and the clock is ticking.

Hi as I know redirecting an expired authority domain to another domain can potentially increase keyword rankings due to the transfer of link equity. However, this strategy carries risks such as potential Google penalties for manipulative practices and may not be sustainable in the long term. It's generally better to focus on creating high-quality content and establishing natural backlinks.

Ignore 99% of above
Google did not say Expired Domains are bad.
They said that what is done in BHW is bad!

Google did say they do not mind people buying expired domains as long as the domain has good content aimed at the user (not necessarily copied from Wayback Machine)
Google also know when the domain changed hands.

Expired domains still carry juice - ask all the PBNs functioning very well.
Keep to the trust flow categories
Do not redirect a domain

Google actually said:

Expired domain abuse

Expired domain abuse is where an expired domain name is purchased and repurposed primarily to manipulate search rankings by hosting content that provides little to no value to users. Illustrative examples include, but are not limited to:

  • Affiliate content on a site previously used by a government agency
  • Commercial medical products being sold on a site previously used by a non-profit medical charity
  • Casino-related content on a former elementary school site

expired domain redirect still works. but one should use domains from similar niche. Like technology to technology redirect. If you try to redirect a medical related domain to technology site, it may be either not credited or be seen as webspam (or whatever term google uses internally).

It can work, but you should better research well on your niche. Your niche research is very important.

yes , but you need an good powerful domain so the results are quick and good .

It will still work but there needs to be more focus on improving the quality of the content
There is always the age old debate about content v backlinks - it is important to look at SEO as a whole including the on and off page
