I got a copyright strike strike on my video, when i used music from a royalty free website. I just got a note that this video maybe have limititied ad revenue. I don't think it affects my other videos, I got the music from pixabay, and many people get their music from there too. If you used a top 10 hit or something, then I dunno. If you plan to monitise you might not want to take the chance.

None of this is free, unless you're a musician
