consensus among the pros - API & IG don't work well together

big bullshit. Don't believe people who say this. They are very far from being pro in API, they use tools made by others and complain.

I often get locked out of my ig account when I first set it up. Do you have any solution for that problem?

sounds like your setting the account up on a desktop and registering with an email versus phone #.. if this is the case, you may have created too many accounts from your current IP. try to setup accounts on mobile first and verify with a phone number to build your trust score. Or you can use another proxy to create on desktop and rent / lease a phone # if you dont want to use yours or cant.. you can only create 5 accounts max on Ig from the same device / IP..

Additionally, after creating the account its best to just browse IG if not allow it to warmup by letting it rest for a few days and not doing too many actions [like, comments, follows] right out the gate.

Excellent to hear because we are invested in some API tools. . Hoping to overcome hurdles with API by using quality proxies with dedicated IG accounts, building trust scores / warmup, and limiting requests or actions per day. This is our starting point / foundation until we learn more from doing..

Thanks Nik! Great to see an M/C pro here and nice to have a backup plan = InstaInfantry.. Ultimately decided I needed a deeper understanding of these systems and tools that are widely used in SMM and by our top competitors. Whether for in-house operations or for outsourcing. Similar to your approach, I also wish to avoid unnecessary risk and a poor ROI by botting larger accounts where the risk isn't worth the reward. Thanks for the Instagram Automation Guide

Thanks dude. And yeah, they can be used for just about any tool but there's kind of a shortage of them at the moment. I can only really make about 1k of them each month and I already owe like 1.2k in pre-orders so probably not an option for you if you're trying to move quickly. I have plans to scale but it's just not feasible at the moment, especially as there are ongoing updates on IG.

Yes, i've been using API action for the last ~2months as well without bans yet. account quality / trust score, proxy, warmup and # of actions / limits will determine your fate. software that doesnt allow users to set limits based on their accounts trust score probably plays a big role in API failure rate.

I believe with IG it's best to automate it using the real phone and set up a bot on them to click stuff there instead of a browser or API.

OP check with many accounts provider, I burned hundreds testing them also your proxy provider until you find a winner combo of proxy + account you'll burn many accounts

You want to check what's happening under the hood for a story like, which endpoints are being hit, are they tracking the click of an user story profile? Many things to take in account.

If done correctly there's no way for IG to detect API automation

UPDATE #2

Currently running 3 accounts on 1 phone [RPA / real phone automations] via our private phone farm.

Accounts are aged ~2016 with mail.ru email addresses.. warm up process involved letting the accounts sit on their new IPV4 USA proxies for 72hrs prior to running some warmup / random actions, mainly scrolling.

day 3, 72hrs in we updated profiles and added 3 - 6 picture posts

Day 4 did 30 story views and 30 story likes

day 5 did 30 story views and 16 follows

day 6 paused actions but added 6 - 9 posts per page

day 7 changed hours of activity and did 30/30 story actions

will start increasing the actions limits incrementally going into week 2.
The goal is to see how fast we can get an account warm and working without flags, blocks, bans, etc.. and on what quality of proxy, etc.. we also have residential & mobile USA proxies to test if / when needed..

Does anyone reading this have experince with Ominator, Sharingtools, or similar API / RPA automations software?
