So how do they do it?
Are these services he posted above a scam?
Of course they are a scam.
Do you even have to ask this?
Yeah, here, send me $1k and 5% of what's in the wallet, and I'll crack the wallet for you.
ho ho ho.
I won't just crack it myself and take 100% of what's in it! Because um, yeah, I like to offer services. I'm not a bad person, I'm just fulfilling a market need.
I've already showed the math.
If you could play the powerball every second for the next 20 billion years, you are a trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion times more likely to win it, every second, for the next 20 billion years than you are to find 1 of 100 million wallets in the complete address space for a 256 bit key.
Do you understand the sheer magnitude of this now?
You would need more GPUs than there exists atoms in the universe to crack it with current GPUs.
Even quantum computers can't just magically crack it. And as I've said before, why does some cracker kid at home have a quantum computer and the miners don't?
A super quantum computer won't just magically appear and be able to crack crypto.
As technology advances, everyone, including the bad actors all get access to similar levels of tech.
In fact, the miners are going to get access way before any hackers at home will.
They have FAR MORE MONEY and are financially incentivized.
Not only that, but this is a known issue. Blockchain developers are well aware of this. There are trillions of dollars locked up in crypto.
We are not just going to sit around doing nothing while quantum computers advance over the years then go "whoops, there goes crypto".
