Reddit mass removing comment links today?

voting services have nothingt o do with it. me and others got hit even on comments that weren't voted up on the entire account let alone that comment. i een tested more in the last 24 hours and there is an algorithm change on some stuff. in fact the comments and accounts that got voted up were no less likely to be removed then the ones that weren't. i agree my accounts are all unrelated to another in every way like yours still getting hit.

This was one of my theories too, I also used upvote shop, but it doesn't seem to matter. I made a few comments with links and didn't send any upvotes at all to see what'll happen. They still got removed a few hours later.
It seems algorithmic. The only thing that confuses me is that the comments show up at first, they only get removed a few hours or a day later.

yes before usually if you do something wrong its within a few minutes the comment is gone but this time like you said its a few hours later
I get the sense it's not an individual thing , they have some sort of spam filter that get a command at a certain time and he just wipes out massive amount of comments that contain suspicious backlinks

yeah it might be the entire site cause its its going back and removing OLD comments from a long time ago at once too for many people at once. BUT myabe thats cause they introduced a new UPDATE to the entire site so it had to overhaul everyones posts with the new filter so it gave the appearance it was going back but giong forward it wont do that anymore on old posts?

Yup, I'm getting them removed within 24 hours. I thought the mods caught on, but it's across subreddits. I did get one to stick for 24 hours with upvotes and multiple links. No idea what the pattern is.
Even accounts that I started from scratch and only posted 1 link on the entire account got removed from 4 months ago. It wasn't an affiliate link either. And the website is legit that I linked to, it was a personal project. Email verified with yahoo on that one.
I'm having them removed on subreddits of less than 2,000. And I know it's not the moderator.

i concur same thing small or big doesn't matter. also there doesnt seem to be any kind of pattern for the accounts or the links on why soem comments on some accounts are removed and some aren't. it seems purely random. i think i seen some more removed in the lats few hours unless i missed reocrding them but the bulk seemd to happen earlier today and yesterday

I doubt that considering accounts that ive seen by me and others were hit with all kinds of account types

reddit is and will be spammed to death right now by automated tools. So, this was bound to happen.

is the question in concern, targeting bots or even manual work. I have a bunch of guys set doing it. I wonder if it's profitable in the short term.
