I own a Shopify which specialises in digital eBooks, these often get people submitting chargebacks to try and get the product for free.

I've actually ended up being banned from the platform, on top of paying $500+ in chargeback fees and am beyond p*ssed with the platform.

I've been searching for a way to set up the checkout on my site (which doesn't have to be within shopify now), so that it can make it impossible for the customer to file a chargeback, or either use a F2C checkout so they cannot get away with this.

I haven't tried it, but I heard good things from lemonsqueezy. It's worth a shot, and you can ask them about chargebacks and issues.

What does LemonSqueezy do different to Stripe and PayPal I wonder? I'll check it out

to avoid fraudulent dispute in stripe you need to activate the 3DS secure and make it mandatory for all transaction.

You may need to use a multi functional gateway to achieve this.
