If you have $20K, how would you invest it? I need some ideas please.

Thank you guys. Any other ideas? Doesn't matter if it's online or offline

Check my Rolex thread, it’s easy money with decent return, and you can do this over and over again

depends on your target.
How old are you, when do you want it back.

Safest is bonds fixed interest- without any risk. For short term

For a much longer term
Go into stocks. If you do not want to put in work and time.

you can also start a business with that amount.

Buy Bitcoin while halving

This is an unpopular opinion, but I assume the hype, or, let's say, the spike, will drop straight on the day or after some days of the halving.
It's the same principle as on stock markets: People know something coming, releasing, etc.- anything special or something that MUST shoot the rocket. But the reality is different.
People have already made Money before, and traders, as well as big holders (called whales, right?), have already made their margin and jumped over, already thinking about their Short Strategy.

EDIT: Before someone says, "But there is less on the market!! And the demand is high! This makes no sense." - Yes, buddy, you are right. But Trading is irrational.
Let's stay with stock markets since you can better illustrate them with an example: People think THIS MUST RAISE! Because from a technical and fundamental perspective, everything is fine.
But then? 5 Months later, the stock is half of the price. The inner value of the stock is high. Even if the price-earning-ratio, so company stock price vs. earning per share, is reasonable - some stocks are still undervalued :)

It's not that straightforward, unfortunately.

On a scale of 1-10, how risky would you like to be with it? 10 would be very high risk and 1 would be no risk at all.

Thank you guys. Any other ideas?
Honestly:

- First of all, if you have some, Pay your debts
- In case there is still 20k, I would do the following; let's break it down from Important to relatively less critical (my opinion):
  1. Rule Nr 1: Dont be greedy and think that you can double your money in one night
  2. Take your time; it will increase over time
  3. Dont invest in things you dont understand (I like this Waren Buffet Quote)
  4. Self Discipline: dont waste it instantly because you get one potential idea.
  5. Now the Breakdown:
    • Emergency Liquidity (15% - 3000$): In case you need Aid: Any unexpected thing like - Something needs to be repaired or anything else that is urgent
    • Investments: (35% - 7000$): Depending on your age (If you are "young," then a bit riskier is ok, so I would split it like 70% of the 7.000$, which is 4900$, in Medium classified Investments: Sold Stocks (If you have experience, but due to this economic times I would not do it currently), ETFs, High-Quality Corporate Bonds, probably Government Bonds that have a little more risk, Real Estate Bonds. I would put the remaining 30%: 2100$ in high-risk Assets, like Crypto - dont play with CFD if you have no clue - dont want to judge. You will lose. Trust me.
    • Self-education (5%—1000$): First things first, buy the Jr. VIP Membership at BHW—just kidding, do whatever you want—but Invest in yourself. For some online courses, don't pick any overpriced sh**; look for suitable Udemy Courses. Do some other things you like, but educate yourself. Also, personal education is essential. Learn some new skills.
    • Start your Business (35%—7000$): Depending on your skills, what you love to do, and what you learned during Self-Education, start SLOWLY!
    • Saving for any specific thing, like a House, Car, TV, PC, etc. (10% - 2000$) - Dont touch this money for other expenses rather add something of your monthly income to reach this specific Goal

In case you want to Flip the 20k into anything risky with the hope of getting rich fast, then I can tell you that it will most likely not happen. If so, then you have it deserved + you are a lucky man!

Best regards

I am not an avid Crypto investor and am not fond of it either. But to be honest, I have recently put quite a lot of money into the market. This is because there is a halving season that occurs for every crypto, once in 4 years. When this happens, the price based on historical data, always skyrockets. The halving season of Bitcoin is is April 2024. So i would recommend going on ahead and looking in to it.

Best of luck!!!
