Inflation ruined everything

You think that's bad? Toronto apartments are selling for $10,000+ per square metre!

My apartment is exempt from rent control (where landlords can only raise rent by 2.5% a year). Five years ago I was paying $1800/month for my two bedroom apartment. This year it is $3700/month and that is considered CHEAP!
Well, I bet a person in Poland makes a shitload less money than in Toronto so I guess the part of salary dedicated to rent for an apartment is not that different. Or?

Hahaha

Back to cleaning toilets in Germania.

In all seriousness though you guys look like you’re all set for some astonishing property and tech booms. Poland is poised to become the Silicon Valley of Europe from what i’ve heard? Defo would hold on to any property there for now, at least or has that boat already set sailed lol

Invest in inflation-proof assets like real-estate. Especially in European capital cities - like warsaw.

Like it or not, real estate for rental purposes is probably the greatest retirement plan that exists. My grandparents had their pension fucked, my parents are also not gonna see all that they were promised and I have absolutely no dreams of retiring off of government pension. 401k's and shit? Yeah, that's also quite rocky.

Real estate though? That's the goal. Expensive as fuck, but it is what it is my guy.

Or move the fuck out of the capital. A 1 million $ house would cost around 100-200k give or take if you drive 100-200km from capital.

If you earn online and in Dollars, come to India .

I shift from Usa to India .

Health care top Notch and people are chill.

One drawback, the tax may cause you a trouble as I heard that is high.

But so far I didn't faced any problem.

I earn like 25000$ from my blogs and cash cow YouTube Channels.

How are you finding life there / access to services without an adhar card??

?

Still no single radioactive source of energy. I think it's never gonna happen. No nuclear power plants.

Silicon Valley maybe. From my experience it's just cheaper to hire here than in other European countries. Not much potential for me. :D

I have $6 mobile cards. Price for 200 gb lte. One of the cheapest in Europe.

But is that potential of silicon valley? People here barely have their basics needs met

I feel like 20% don't have jobs here. And they could work perfectly.

Exactly, average salary is $1900 here, minimum $800.
Real estate is madness here. It increased 50%+ in last 3 years.
People calling it here: "betonowe złoto" ("golden concrete"). For last few years, thousands of people instead to invest in stock market, invested in real estate. But it have to collapse, because prices are unrealistic for most of population.

Example sidewalk in Poland.

Streets are the same. Car broken completely in 5 years.

I found similar problems in digital space here. Holes everywhere.

Bad organization and lack of workers. Guess why. :D

They fix one street 5 years.

Except that what you're talking about isn't just due to inflation, and you know that perfectly well.
You know very well why in Europe, especially when it comes to food and housing, we're all going through the roof.
Housing is going up because the banks are screwing the pooch with interest rates and increasingly restricting mortgages.
Housing supply, especially rentals, is decreasing because of AirBnB and you know very well that's the case all over Europe.
New housing isn't going up because there's a war on your doorstep, and that's where the building materials come from.
Food is overpriced because of the war in Ukraine, which is disrupting world markets.
Aren't you happy with the situation? You know what you have to do on June 9.

Real estate prices are out of control, trying to rent an apartment right now and had to double the budget just to get something decent

Unfortunately. These products are undeniably much more expensive.

Minimalism in food was the only way to go around that.
Yeah, just stop eating, who needs food...

What visa do you have? What's up with the tax thing?
Around India is Sri Lanka. :D they have almost free life there.
No country has free life, but rent, water, etc is super cheap here. Just did initial groceries before finally moving to my (rented) house and started staring dramatically at my grocery bill while my friends were like 'this is enough for 3 weeks'. Oh, ok, price makes sense then. Damn, after Poland I can't look at grocery bill anymore without dying on the spot from stress. Where in Poland you have cheaper food?
Yall will have to go back to the UK to moonlight as painters and decoraters at this rate LMAO
Not interested and exactly why I don't move to western country. Btw it's sad how during wars inteligentsia was killed off and what's left now is a culture of simple workers, but that's another issue for another thread.
Exactly why I moved to Sri Lanka, not interested in cleaning other people's toilets. Btw, you can get a maid in Sri Lanka, she'd clean and cook. Or order food from the app if you don't know how to cook, these are real, nice meals not just fast food (they have that too lol).

Ehhh. Investor that bought my polish apartment wanted to renovate and rent it out but once he talked with (extremely rude and mafia-like) housing association staff he decided to sell it at a higher price, he didn't renovate at all, just flipped. This housing association is so scammy they'll eat up any profits that you potentially could have. Let's not forget about renters with children that could decide to squat one day and cause you problems. It's not as easy as people make it out to be. *sighs* I mean, these are huge transactions, but you can loose a lot too with bad investment of this type.

No stress needed over papers. :D

Yeah, just stop eating, who needs food...

Only pork and chicken all day. No vegetables. :D

Muscle bigger than ford mustang. Hehe

12 weightlifting trainings for $6 hehe

Still 4k kcal a day off cheapest carbohydrates and meat. :D

Use everything you know and don't know as a fuel.

As you can only connect dots looking back, do not think too much.

Do what you know and can do, then move to things you would love to do.

Kids are earning more money than all you together here. Stop bitching, and put in some work.

(ignore this)

Working online is awesome because you're free to live anywhere.

If you go to Bangkok or Bali, you can definitely live like king for 3-4 grand a month.

even $200/day starting to become problematic.
It's not "get rich" any more. Especialy earning money with free traffic and blackhat is harder and harder each month ;)

If you were successful with Blackhat and free traffic before AI, you should be even more successful now! It's the same process but on a bigger scale.

^^^ that

Internet marketing has always been a thing where the top 10% earn much more than the bottom 90%, the top 1% keep quiet as F and earn. AI is just another new skill to learn. Game is constantly changing.

(I’ve been at it since the internet started, basically)
