Not getting any new views after demonetization

Anyone experience this before? I was recently mistakenly demonetized but quickly remonetized after sending in a video appeal. Now my new videos are only being seen by my subscribers and I’m not getting any new views coming from browse feed. The niche is very low competition as only me and another channel are making videos for it but potential views are very high in this niche. Is this a soft shadow ban after being demonetized or what?

Yes, this also happens when you get a strike. Recovering from this takes quite a while but is doable. Just keep on posting videos.

How long did it take after the strike to start seeing some increases in traffic?

It happens for demonetization, strikes and copyright claims. Depending on the cause and penalty the recovery time of the channel will vary

Yes, this is a shadow ban affect, we believe when a channel gets de-monetized, copyright strikes, the Bots falsely flag the channel as spam, however this is only for a while. We would suggest you to reduce the number of uploads for 1-2 months or even rest the channel for a while, resting the channel kind of revives it after a while and we ahve seen this with many of our channels as well.

Just an update, as I'm still experiencing this. Posted two new videos, and 95% of the views are from returning viewers, however, my older videos are all each getting at least 1k new viewers per day.

Demonetization doesn’t impact video views. Maintain consistency things will bounce back.

All types of YouTube penalties result in drop of views. In few months you can still recover with good content update regular.

It's back now. Newest videos got a good amount of views so I guess it's coming back.

Your channel will recover from the shadowban if you keep uploading videos. It happens for a short time.

Yeah it took 2-3 weeks. I post one video and then I let the channel rest.
