OpenAI SORA Thoughts

It's scary how fast it's evolving... Just a year ago we had the Will Smith Spaghetti AI video.

Hopefully, it's not going to be wide-open and accessible like Midjourney or Dalle. Or else we are going to have the internet flooded with so much fake stuff it's going to be impossible to know what is real or fake.

I mean old people on facebook can't even tell that GTA 5 Crash Videos are not real...

There will be a lot of people who will rise and make millions from these tools, and there will be a lot of people left behind. I think everyone should at least keep an eye on these tools so he knows what's out there and what are the possibilities. text generation killed copywriters, image generation killed designers and now I think the next thing will be Hollywood, I'm pretty sure 1 year from now, or 2 years maximum there will be a Netflix-like platform where you can pick a movie title and a genre and it will create a movie for you from thin air.

do you have something in mind? I think it will be super expensive based on their current API cost
Don’t know nothing about price. But for Voiceover videos will be this very useful. Maybe for ads. Don’t know how real will it look in details.

Depends on the cost, but I'm licking my lips

I've got pure Geo domain and write about things to do, places to visit, to see etc etc - I can see virtual tours, experiences, city tours, historical deep dives - all at scale and the list is bloody endless.......

As I said in another thread. It's not like Hollywood has made anything worthwhile in these past couple of years. Most of the Streaming platforms are already dying out because of pricing and limited selections. None of them are evolving, or even fast enough to keep up with this.

I had the same thought as you, You'll probably be able to select genres and type what you want to see in the movie or select prompts, etc.

Although the idea is crazy, it's not impossible. I would imagine there will be people trying to stop it from becoming too freely usable like that though...

this thing will probably destroy Hollywood as we know it. Studios will look into outsourcing this AI instead of paying real people to act and do editing.

The model is not yet publicly available, and is currently being tested with input from cyber security experts and creatives. It has limitations OpenAI accepts that including inability to simulate complex scenes’ physics and understand cause-and-effect relationships. There are still plenty of joints out there, so it's too early to say anything

That's amazing friends. It's the end of Hollywood as we know it. Soon, anyone will be able to create top-level movies just sitting in front of a laptop.
Furthermore, just imagine the nearest future of computer games: there will be no game engines and the game world will be modelled on-the-fly for each gamer individually, wow!

you are right but don't forget the Smith Pizza video was only 1 year ago!

it feels like most recent movies are already written by ai then they throw in some random actors and 1 lead actor to get you to watch.

Probably...

All just milking the same things over and over... The new Madame Web is a good example of poor shit for profits and using known actors as bait for people to see it.,

I was thinking on creating a Lord of the Rings new version featuring @RoiBox as Welcoming Elrond and Deleted member 752298 as WP-Gandalf

Castings are open if anyone wants to join this BHW (Black Hollywood World), massive production.

PS: Sorry for all the guys who showed interest, but Gollum position is closed, the fortunate will be revealed soon.

Thanks for the tag but this is the first time I have heard about this new feature. Pretty cool tough.
