can you use the customizable chatGPTs as an api ?

My plan is to build web apps and IOS apps using the OpenAI's API , a lot of these chatGPTs would be great apps on their own.

is their a way to use them as an API?
or else ill try reverse engineering them as well

theirs a way to get the entire initial prompt from the chatbot, but idk how API calls are handled when creating a chatbot.
