I haven't had the time to look at this but what you outlined is a simple function that has a boolean output, whether or not the Bricks option is installed and has a license.

So if what you need depends on that function, just "return true;" at the beginning of the function.

That function alone is defeated like in the example below but I think there might be more things to it in the rest of the plugin and the logic of the whole plugin must be studied first.

From this:

        $option  = get_option( 'core_framework_main', array() );
        $license = get_option( 'core_framework_bricks_license_key', false );
        return isset( $option['bricks'] ) && $option['bricks'] && $license;
    }

To this:

equals to:

Answer this: Is the option "bricks" already set? AND if set, is it anything other than "false"? AND is the license also set and
is anything other than "false"?

You return your answer: sure! True!

Não tive tempo de ver isso, mas o que você descreveu é uma função simples que possui uma saída booleana, esteja a opção Bricks instalada ou não e tenha uma licença.

Então, se o que você precisa depende dessa função, basta "retornar verdadeiro"; no início da função.

Essa função por si só é derrotada como no exemplo abaixo, mas acho que pode haver mais coisas no resto do plugin e a lógica de todo o plugin deve ser estudada primeiro.

Well, not surprising. As I mentioned, there must be more things to it. That must be only part of the whole system in place to check the license. But I would need to check the whole thing. I will as soon as I have another slow day. Don't worry, lately, slow days are more frequent than not.

This is the latest, Bricks v1.9.5 (Jan. 12 2024)

The only issue with nulling it is that you will not be able to download templates from their site because they check the license for that. Other than that I see no issues.

The only way you would lose content is if the new update is incompatible with the previous version, but this is unlikely because they updated from v1.9.5 to v1.9.6, so basically it is like a maintenance update.

Anyway, everything you do and create is in the database, not in the file system, which is where the update mostly occurs. If any update modifies the database in a way that could break the website or could cause data loss, the author will notify users beforehand.

So before updating, to be in the safe side, make a full backup of the database first. This is a standard procedure that must ALWAYS be done before updating plugins (nulled or not) if you are in doubt of compatibility.

Here is v1.9.6 already nulled. Just install it on top (rewrite) of the existing installation. The database will still contain your data.

I've had a look what i haven't been able to work out is how to bypass the force activation screen, i think telling it is premium and activated is done by modifying this code
