Does anyone have an explanation for this? Earlier today, I received an email from Etsy notifying me that my bank account had been unlinked from my Etsy shop (by an Etsy admin). When I tried to access my account, I received an error message stating that my current email was INVALID (which is the Email i use to access the account). I then attempted to log in using my old email address (which I had changed long ago and don't use to access the account), but I couldn't log in due to an incorrect password. I then received another email indicating that my password had been changed (which is an action i didn't do). After following the "forgot my password" process, I was eventually able to regain access to my account through my old email address (the current one i use is still INVALID)

Upon logging in, I discovered that both my credit card and bank account had been unlinked, my shop was inactive, and only one listing was active. I'm uncertain about the cause of these changes, but even after relinking my credit card, my shop remains inactive. I suspect that my Etsy account has been compromised, as it seems someone may have gained unauthorized access to it and taken control.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue? How do you think this could have happened? Do you believe someone hacked my account, or could Etsy have made these changes? I have already emailed customer support but have yet to receive a response. Any insights or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Clearly something inappropriate has happened to your account.
Let's say your account was stolen. Why would a thief change the email on your account not to his own but to your old email?
To change the account for withdrawal of funds, you need to know the full number of the account already linked, and only you can know it if you have not given it to anyone else (when changing the bank account number to withdraw money from Etsy, you need to enter the full number of the account currently linked to the account and only after that Etsy will give you the opportunity to enter a new account).

I heard from other sellers on Etsy when Etsy itself unlinked the bank account from the account and asked to re-verify the account, there were also cases when, for security reasons, Etsy reset the password and had to restore it. But you have a whole set of problems. Change passwords everywhere, install two-factor authentication everywhere and wait for a response from Etsy support.

I'm a bit unsure about what's going on with the account. i know that when linking a new bank account, I usually need to input the old bank account number. My theory is that if there's unauthorized activity on the account, Etsy might automatically revert the account to the old email address. However, I'm not entirely sure if this is the correct scenario. I'm having trouble figuring out what exactly happened.

Hello, I used American information to register an American store on etsy and started operating it one month later. I used pingpong for payment and a virtual credit card. My products are customized handmade products. When the order is placed, it will be 4 It will be suspended within a few days. Is this a problem with my collection account? I am from China
