Hello, I am currently selling individually on Etsy in the United States. I want to migrate these sales to Shopify. I have an SSN number. However, when I make test sales for products on shopify, taxes appear as 0.00 dollars. Can you help me with this?

You should be able to do that.

Do I need to issue an invoice for the sales? The products are second-hand, vintage rugs. Shipping will be directly handled by my cousin in Turkey for the customer.

You don't need to issue any invoices. You are not issuing invoices on Etsy either.

When I try to make a custom item sale, for example, during a 'draft order,' tax is not being added. The issue is as shown in the image below, even when I select New York, tax is not being calculated. What could be the reason for this?

I don't really know much about how to find products that can easily sell

I think I solved it When we moved the taxes section to Manual Tax, the problem was solved.
