It’s not a scam, it’s just a trend on TikTok. Those interactions are organic. People are looking for ways to go viral with no effort that’s why it worked and there are a lot of gullible people on TikTok

It's pretty obvious how it got 30 that many views... People who watched (probably more times to understand the steps) tried to replicate in their phones. Even though it didn't work, they generated enough good metrics (watchtime, retention, etc) to make tiktok recommend the video further...
