Have you found that instagram in any way punishes users which are themselves legitimate, but have engagement coming from obvious bots?
Of course if someone has 10000 fake followers there's no way to prove they were responsible for buying them etc, but does the algorithm nevertheless favour a user with 10000 real people? Even if you can argue that since those bot followers haven't dropped instagram doesn't distinguish them from real ones, surely they know something fishy is up if a user with 1 post and 10 followers suddenly goes up by 10k in under 24hrs, and then receives no engagement in the months following?

no one is an instagram expert or knows the actual algorithm unless you work for instagram, I never trust anyone who makes these claims. We all know engagement is key and everything else is just a guessing game

By this logic hacking shouldn't exist. As soon as a security system is created, the only way to break it is by guessing?
You don't need to create systems to reverse engineer them through pattern recognition and educated analysis. Its called science

I have stopped running Mother and child with softwares.
I do organic using tags and collaborations now.
I am at 120k followers. I have built this account for 3 yrs now. Its in a sports niche not all year around. Currently I am just posting new viral content which I can find on Tiktok. I was wondering if there is any new methods that I should try out to grow even faster? like collaborations, remixes etc. Atm I am gaining around 600 follows per day and posting around 3x a day. Views on every video around 70-200k. Some go viral time to time 2m-7m.
I am not really doing stories, idk why. Seems like stories doesnt help to grow at all. Wby?
And what do you think when should I start to monetize it somehow? Is 120k followers enough? I get around 250k profile views a month currently. I do some AD reels, 110 dollar per ad. but thats it.

You can grow your account with lots of strategies.
One of the most effective ways is through engagements with other accounts in your niche. You can also collaborate with this accounts and if they accept, your account will grow faster.
When IG gives you a violation, the post will automatically be deleted, and counted against the health of your account and cannot be reversed.
By making decent contents and removing any of your content that's flagged.
