Here's my review:

I gave SOCOM a hard task of improving rankings that were already ranking in the top 5 in most of my targeted area. He even joked about it "already ranking". But hey, we do SEO over here and get results quickly. So as hard as the task was, I feel like it really displays the impact of the service provided and expanding the radius is what every local entity should want.

I wanted to to see if his changes could indeed move the needle among tougher competition and push it outside of the radius.

If you read any of my comments, you can see that I'm deep in the local SEO game. I was curious to see what else could be done to improve my rankings and being that its one of our personal businesses, we been kinda moving slow and hadn't done anything in a month. So ranking hit a plateau. I like to isolate variables and since we're consistently working on clients, I didn't want to give him one of those entities and not be able to tell whether the results were from his work or not. Unfortunately that left him with the tough task of expanding the ranking outside of the city limits of this particular profile.

I gave SOCOM access to my site and he made a few changes. Then he said he did some on and off-page SEO. Here is a picture of a before and after showing my results in just a few short days.

I'm very pleased with the results and we're seeing an increase in interactions for that listing.

We also gotta few new signups (people who purchased a yoga package) from the bordering city and have never had a signup outside of our radius. So I think it's pretty conclusive. Without signups coming in from outside of the city.

Here's another case study that I didn't post in the original post!

Fast results in a very difficult niche.

And I checked the rankings today to see if they are still holding and the results are still indeed holding that position. No other SEO was done for this person and they're happy with the leads. There are even some ranking increase in the further areas.
