Is a web development/design agency worth starting?

Then it could be worth it, get some % sellers and aim for $2500-$3000 minimum per website at least. Give your sellers 20-30% they need to make money too if you want to keep them selling.
where would I be able to find and work with sellers from your experience?

You can start a joint venture here. That's one option.

And you can hire people. I don't know where. You need to recruit them a lot like HR. It's a skill also.

A good way of finding sellers and customers in to network a lot on afterwork and lunch networking groups/places if you don´t have your own network. Networking with business owners are key to find both sellers and customers.

I know. I am proficient specifically in webflow for web designs and development, in your opinion do you think it would be an issue that I am offering the service only using this?
Find real wordpress devs in Europe (ukraine, belarus) and outsource work. Webflow is... not something you can call premium and charge like its premium.

Anyone has workaround for this? I have no ambition to meet business people. I don't have friends in my city. I have all my friends online. You get it.

What would you do in that case?!

My only option is to charge $100 per website. No matter how good. It's always $100! Otherwise, some suckers are gonna low-ball me.

The website is professional. It's made by a person who cares about aesthetics like on blackhatworld (but modern). But they won't buy from me! They don't exist.

I can't sell to ghosts that I wish were my clients.

"Web design and development remain highly lucrative endeavors, provided you can consistently secure new leads and establish lasting client relationships. The ongoing demand for online presence ensures a thriving market, with success hinging on your ability to both attract and retain clientele."
i think there's a personal aspect, both my parents are in dire need of websites, which im making, i think there needs to be an aspect of cold calling bussinesses with lesser tech savvy people, and develop an emotional bridge to deliver a service which will boost their customers.

forgot to mention a major bussiness which i have inside contact with also need a website, and i can get seo work on 4 other websites, just by existing in my city lol

Yeah. The emotional bridge. A person I worked for a couple of months for used to drink vodka with his clients. Literally they became friends overnight. Then lawyers came to help sign a contract. He signed a contract. All was fine.

But that dude I worked for was so fucking exhausted... like lucky.sparks said. Literally went to a room full of workers moaning about how exhausted he was. :D

Lol man this is the type of stuff im working with hahahaha looks like its from 2002. I can probably squeeze a bit of bucks out of this. btw this bussiness is valued well above 3-5 million dollars or more

Well, customers paying higher amounts does more often have the need for face-to-face networking/selling. You might consider getting some sales guys doing that type of selling for you. Selling online like on LinkedIn or by ads is a lot harder when it comes to getting higher paying clients, networking in some form is the key.

It's all about that rapport. Or whatever. I haven't sold a single item in my life face to face. I haven't had an occasion.

Someone told me I should do some work on telephone. I hesitate about that. There's one big benefit of that, learning how to connect.

And I hate phones.

But what if there was a script for that... what if... maybe I could go as far as coding AI for that on telephone. :suspicious:

Ages we're living in are getting more artificial and artificial...

Prolly would be easier to code AI for smth else but just throwing ideas for everyday BHW chit chat. :anyway:

Talk to @CPANathan he is learning right now how to sell face-to-face by knocking on doors and selling, one of the toughest jobs out there, but when he is finished he knows how to sell face-to-face .. =)

Might be a longshot, but making some kind of bot scalping domains from your countries/ip's google map?? Idk, but you could mass email these asking if they would need any domains, or if you're bold enough, make a number network and just call them lol, or do all of this manually. Then again im dreaming up in my brain

Don't listen to the people who say it's "saturated". If your goal is 10K per month, you need 2-10 clients max.

Here is a method you can follow:

There is a trend I've been seeing on X & YouTube called "Design-as-a-subscription"
where clients would pay $500 to $10,000 monthly for "unlimited" design work. Clients subscribe, submit a design request, you work on the request, and deliver it. If they are satisfied, then they can submit another request. This method is not limited to design it can be done for copywriting, SEO, software development, and others. This guy: designjoy. co is an example of it working, making 1 million a year solo. Also, check endless .design, they are more advanced but see how they deliver value with the copy they use on the landing page.

The most important part is selling. If you can sell then you are golden. You can learn to do cold email outreach or do a JV with someone who can sell and split the revenue with them.

Pro tips: look for other agencies and ask them if they can offload their extra work. Look for startups that recently raised money, they will 100% need a rework of their site to a more fancy one.

Also, 99% of clients don't care if you are using Webflow, or Wordpress or you are coding it from scratch. If it looks good to them everything else doesn't matter, so don't mention it unless they ask or you are targeting clients that looking for specific platforms.

Good Luck.

In my opinion, it all depends on the country and region where you want to work.
