Hello folks,
I've written a book which is both a journalistic investigation and a geopolitical analysis. The book is in French.

The book went on sale ten days ago on Amazon (self-publishing). The beginnings are a bit timid.

I'd really like to get sales off the ground.

What's the best option?
Bloggers?
Influencers?
Press articles?
All at once?

I really need a good strategy and yes, I'm willing to put my hand in the wallet to get results.

For my part, I've given away copies, I've solicited reviews on Amazon (real reviews, from real readers) and I've got two articles in the press, but it's not much.
Obviously, as soon as someone talks about my book or takes a photo of it, I share the publication on my social networks.

Thanks

I suggest you use social media to promote your book. For example, find bloggers, influencers or reviewers who relate to the content of your book and ask them to read and review your book. Their support and publicity can help expand your readership.

Amazon Ads + IG influencers within your niche

Social media ads is the best approach and to the audience which is above 35. You can select some additional preferences too.

Engage influencers, seek media coverage, and collaborate with authors. Build an email list, participate in forums, and run promotions for consistent book promotion.

Join your hands with Instagram influencers to reach high. You can even give a try on ads.

I suggest you to go with all , if possible try to make a social sharing s for a very good sales. as modern world is moving around internet and social media.

Some news about my book promotion.
It's aimed at people over 30, so Instagram influencers aren't an option. We're definitely not on a “look better in your sleep” or “make money watching birds fly” book.

I looked at how much press placement would cost: overpriced, with no guarantee of results.

In the end, I let it go a bit, with regular reminders on my X (formerly known as Twitter) account.

But what really boosted sales were two unsolicited LinkedIn posts. Both people wrote very glowing reviews of my book.

In the space of a month, I sold over 100 copies, which, considering the subject and the audience, is already quite a lot, and you can see that the LinkedIn posts boosted sales. It's better than my previous book, and since a friend of mine designed a beautiful cover for me, it's helped sales of the book. Moral of the story: a beautiful cover attracts the eye and the reader.

By the way, I've also gained around fifty new subscribers on my LinkedIn account (I don't do much on my LinkedIn account).

On the other hand, I've had very little feedback from the people who got it for free, which is very disappointing on their part. But I'll keep that in mind for next time, as readers are urging me to write a sequel.
I took advantage of the Christmas vacations to catch up on some work I'd been doing, and yesterday I had an operation, so I'm still pretty muddy. It's going to take a few days for me to be fully operational, but
I'm thinking of turning to LinkedIn “influencers” because that really seems to be the key.

I'm also thinking of doing an English translation of this book, to reach the American, British and Canadian markets. I'll have to make a few adaptations, but the advantage of proposing a translation is that I have a much wider panel of readers and much cheaper means of promotion.

But, as I was saying, at the moment, I'm not very clear in my head, I think I'm a bit tired and I need to rest. The last few days have been too busy for me.

Social media and PR release great.

I would start link building as well.. money robot still works for this. If you own gsa then you can blast with that as well. But i was not in the game for last 2 months so not sure about the accurate.. but i don't think things have not changed

As I've already mentioned, press releases are expensive in France and the results are totally random.

I would find long tail keywords and try to rank on specific keywords.

Here there was a package for EU PR may be it will help you

I suggest you move on with Influencer marketing and Social Media Marketing where you can reach wider audiences in a short period. There are over 1 billion Social media active users so it could be the best place for enhancing your business.

We're talking about selling a book and it's French PR I need.

Yes, if we were talking about a book, written in English, about "how I lost 30 kilos eating nothing but vanilla ice cream".

Just came across this and I think to drop my story/opinion.
So Dear poster, I was once this confused not knowing what to do with my business and how to get it to my target audience and also to minimise cost while at it, knowing fully well my business is just kicking off and I need all the funds I can pay hands on. This confusion went on until I spoke to some concerned individuals who have their legs rooted in their business and they introduced me to my best decision so far. I got in touch with 9-figure media and I haven't had any reason to regret. 9-figure media is a PR firm that helped my business reach this constantly progressive height with a very pocket friendly fee. I did not have to break the bank yet they delivered my brand on top platforms like Bloomberg, yahoo!,USA today, New York times and many more. Best part... They can arrange for your subscription to be either weekly, monthly or annual.

What part of "The book is in French." did you not understand?
It's nice of you to recommend an American agency, except that I don't see why I'd spend $1,000 on communications to the U.S. to sell a book written in French about France. I'd just as soon burn money.

Run Ad campaigns on social media platforms or connect with influencers.

I would suggest you to go with social media promotions like social sharing's and try reaching influencers related to your niche and domain, Eventually this will help to increase the sales .
