What cpa network do you suggest for content locking porn? some of them ask for dmca compliance. And how do you deliver the video after the offer is completed? do you just link the video to download on drive or mega or you host it somewhere with a video player only accessible via the content locker?

Every content lock network I've used (cpagrip, ogads, adworkmedia, cpablue (now adbluemedia)) do not allow adult. You risk getting kicked off.

I used to monitor this one affiliate doing adult content lock. He must have been killing it for a few years--very strong spammer. But he stopped promoting few years ago. Even has a shitlist thread on GFY forum full of angry adult webmasters being a victim of his spam lol.
I just checked and now he removed the locker code all together. Likely network booted him and nowhere else to turn. Unless it's just blocked for me on a USA IP.
See: pornunlock[.]com/antibot-verification.html

With that being said --- I've content locked adult related things (not videos/pictures) and made a killing. No issue from my manager. Was it explicitly adult? IDK depends who you ask because my site was SFW. It's adult traffic end of the day. I took the risk. This was years ago -- the landscape may be different now. Don't bother to ask your manager they will likely say no and then have a reason to watch you.

As to how to deliver the video -- The video is embedded on some video host is it not? Provide that URL as your "unlock" URL when you're setting up the locker on your cpa network. Maybe use a self-hosted URL shortener so your manager doesn't see you're locking a pornhub[.]com domain.

As far as DIY - There's lots of content locker scripts floating around Codecanyon and the like. The problem is, these are designed to unlock after social media share / email opt-in. How can you program it to unlock after cpa opt-in? Unless there's some configuration there for your postback data, it's not going to happen.

Thanks for the detailed reply!

The content I wanna lock is openly pornographic and NSFW so I couldn't make it look like sexy SFW stuff. Yeah I'm not even gonna try ask my manager or I'll definitely get in a watchlist.

I thought it could look less "exclusive" if I directly link pornhub for example. Like, making the users think "next offer I won't even complete it as this is accesible on pornhub, nothing special here not worth the time waste". But maybe I'm wrong.

Exactly, I've checked codecanyon and those are precisely designed to unlock after sm share or email opt-in, nothing for smartlinks/cpa, so really lost atm.

if u dont mind the risk of network ban just go full throttle with the idea. only way you learn is by doing.
worst case scenario you get kicked off --- there's 5+ more networks for you to join. so be smart and perhaps start with the network you don't necessarily care about.
imo a manager seeing 'pornhub' is enough of a red flag. them seeing mydomain.com/xyz is less of a eyebrow raiser. of course depends on your manager, are they auditing all your activity for compliance, or are you falling through the cracks. so long as no fraud activity you are probably going to be okay. especially okay if you have a aged account with plenty of legit payouts.
i would ditch the codecanyon / custom locker idea totally. figuring out postback is complex enough.

Yeah the codecanyon plan is discarded, but I'll definitely consider burning a few accounts on cpa networks for this.

I don't know how the managers judge the sites, but maybe they click the links even if the urls look friendly.

I agree with you here. If I could suggest something, I would say you could maybe do phub premium creative on the locker so it seems like they are getting paid content for free.

Nice, thank you for that idea, I really like it. Very appealing to complete the offers
