I'm doing a 36-hour fast from food for detox and it's hard. I only have 0 calorie black espresso to speed up metabolism.
Now I do intermittent fasting on the regular eating the next day after 14 or 16 hours usually but when trying to extend the fast for health reasons like this time I find the real difficult part starts at about 20 hours from the day before. This hard window lasts for a few hours and if you can persevere that then it gets easier. You kinda stay present with the hunger and it does not affect you that much any more or at least in my experience.
Anyhoo, what your experience if you do fasting?
