Low response from GSA website Contact,

Any cold messaging system IF the delivery rate is right. I would expect a 1% rate of response.
For captcha bypassing, I am using captchaai.com
I am using a list of 50 static residential IPs for checking the site.
1 4G proxy from oxyproxy.io with a rotation of 120.

Sent 5k messages and zero responses.
So I am trying to determine if it is my setup or if it is my content. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Change the content, if didn't work then u have a problem in ur setup

Try warming up your mail list first, this requires time but mostly ensures you won't get into spam later on. Your wording shouldn't be spammy either, there are sets of words that are better to be avoiding when doing cold emails.

Again, this does not require cold email setups.
i downloaded the material when it came out and it went over setups, dkim records, multiple domains, and protocol to warm them up.
check jv board there are people with the whole thing setup and charge flat rate per x mails.

OP is using GSA Website Contact, which is basically a form filler. There is no actual email coming from the user's side, so DKIM records etc are not needed.

Harold, is that you? ;)

Gsa website contact looks epic ngl.
The problem with the software and all gsa software is that they don’t use a browser or even headless browser. This results in ~100% block rate by WAF like cloudflare and even simple Wordpress “security” plugins on websites that use them.

But then again if someone isn’t using WAF in 2023 they might respond to contact form spam. So there may still be a silver lining for the tool.

I'm liking that I'm getting in front of people. Cold email has gotten worse over the years and harder to maintain inbox rates on all platforms other than b2b. Most small businesses use personal email platforms too.

Depends on who your target market is.

I don't think setup is the issue here. If you are successfully able to fill out the forms then how setup is wrong?
Try with different content variations/Approaches/targeting.

I understand email marketing and the different approaches to it. I was talking about the (severe) limitations of the software.

Personally, I only market to leads that have opted in so I can push them back into my funnel or further down it. Very high conversion rate.

Wish you the best with it!

I haven't mauled over an opt-in strategy yet. I'm still exploring my preferred conversion revenue. I'm not going to stop GSA contact because the cost is negotiable when I'm using the same resources on other avenues.

Highly recommend building an email list on your website. Send the people coming in from your contact form spam to a squeeze page (opt in page). If you’re not familiar with sales funnels definitely learn all you can about them and how to implement them. A service like “click funnels” can be very useful and easy to deploy multiple funnels in short order to guide your traffic into buying.

are you tracking open-rates? click through rates?
i manage a couple smb businesses IT. their inbox are hit daily with contact form spam pitching seo/smma/ppc services. same with telephones from ppl saying they're from google and offering seo.
lot of these senders have really bad copy and are quickly ignored.
my biggest tip is make a strong copy with a good CTA. customize/segregate it so it doesn't obviously look like you sent same thing to 5000 inboxes.
cold email is old but not dead. there was a thread here last month guy doing cold email making $10k a month with web design.
