I've done the math (literally) about what kind of web hosting suits me best. The math is for costs and profits over a period of time. And i have seen that a website running on cloudways has same profits as unmanaged hosting.
At least for my needs and what i can anticipate ... if you got an opinion about this, i'm glad to hear it and maybe we'll go through the details
But what i actually need guidance with is about the not so known stuff about having a server that is managed by me
By setting up my server i would install runcloud, firewall securities with iptables that chatgpt scored as 9/10, apparmor, cloudflare's waf and ddos protection, and almost forgot ... fail2ban, headers security
Is there something more that i should be aware of ? Something that can be unexpected for a newbie getting massive traffic for example ? Something that you only find out about after having experience with websites ?
