Microsoft hires Sam Altman to lead advanced AI research team

Newsflash: Microsoft has sensationally hired Sam Altman and Greg Brockman to lead a new advanced AI research team, just days after the pair left OpenAI.

Microsoft’s chief executive, Satya Nadella, has announced the surprise move, which could shake up the AI industry, just hours after it became clear that Altman was not returning to OpenAI.

Perhaps ominously for OpenAI, Nadella says Altman and Brockman will join “together with colleagues”.

They will have to work very hard to match even the current level of chatgpt. A good team is as important as leader.
 
I think this is the beginning of the end for OpenAi.

Now that Sam has moved to Microsoft, they can build it internally. With time, Microsoft won't need to invest into OpenAi which will see the end of the company. OpenAi's staff will flock to Microsoft.

I bet the board members are losing their minds...

(We just now need to know why they sacked him)

Now, most of the employees also want to quit if there is no Sam in OpenAi. That sound interesting

Half the team already left and created Claude when Microsoft invested in openai.

It appears to me that it's not hard to spawn another capable AI. Microsoft has their own AI hardwares to amplify easily.

They must be partying great there with all that SaaS money.

This is what people on BHW want you to do these days.

Become a SaaS owner - they advise on BHW. Like Sam Altman? That'd be crazy.

Like your only problem is moving from one company to another!

I saw it as a scandal - I was brainwashed by Reddit media. Some guy said Sam Altman was beginning his sentences with "as a large language model". I wasn't sure if it was true before I woke up next day. Weird?

Yeah. Any BHW player with no funds asking for methods can do this.

I browsed through about 5 or 10 products yesterday. THIS IS PURE GARBAGE HELL OF WTFs.

PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY SPAWNING SAAS on OpenAi glue AND THINKING THEY'RE GOOD AT IT. LOL

Those poeple go to youtube and see that $500 per day SaaS ideas. Then they setup it overnight with a random idea inspired by their 9-5 software job. They don't even have time to develop that. And it's produced in large amounts. Haha.

Someone needs to deliver a real How-To on BHW how to run a good (not a mediocre) SaaS.

I hope the intention is true. :)

Maybe AI on reactors will help them create new type of economically wise fuel like made of plasma or air.
 
SAM just make monetize from chatgpt too fast, at the beginning, open AI was a non-profit legacy
They don''t want the AI just belong to the rich
