[Journey] Until I Succeed

Hi all, thread name might sound weird, but this is my curse. Sorry for in advance keeping it very long.

I’m a 26 years old guy from 2nd world country in Asia and living in another 2nd in Europe. I have 2 Bachelor degrees and have 9-5 job as a Software Engineer/Java Developer.

Don’t remember how exactly I discovered the BHW, but what I know probably I’m one of the rare members who didn’t manage to make online money while being member of this forum for 7 years and checking/reading pretty often.

In this 7 years I was not just sitting and doing nothing. I tried multiple methods in past years since the very beginning and my problem was not being consistent. I made only ~15$ on Periscope & CPA probably 6-7 years ago. After that I tried Youtube + Shorts, Tiktok, Website, CPA and intended to do many more.

Ideas always make me very motivated in the beginning and I take action. Even automate parts with my coding skills, but after sometime I just get lazy and demotivated, because I expect results too early. My previous attempts could be successfull if I didn’t give up too early. Mostly I abandon everything after 2-3 months.

Currently I don’t exactly know what method I will follow to make some $$$, but will find it for sure. I’m opening this thread to keep myself on the track and remind myself to be consistent.

Probably in next 2 weeks I will decide and start something. Will share updates to this thread. There is no way I’m going to stop this time ‘Until I Succeed’.

I actually love programming. My first degree was accounting and didn’t want to do it. I’ll be able to build stable life with programming, just want to have multiple source of income.

I can relate to your feeling, giving up on things easily, but I've made up my mind and I think you should so same, to remain committed in all endeavors I take regardless of the initial outcomes. To hang in there and keep my energy alive and brimming. Eventually it'll pay.

I was committed to my studies & job as I expect return in long term. When it comes to side hustles somehow I want to have quick result. Now, I unserstand that is not the way and will stay committed for long period. Thanks for your comment and hope we all will achieve our goals.

Currently I do what I love which is programming and that was pretty hard to achieve. I got my second degree in Computer Science and moved to Europe for it. My job will provide average life to me, but I want to take care of all my family and let them enjoy the rest of their life. So, need at least multiple source of income for this. Thanks for your opinion!

Nah, I’m in Europe xD. What should I do with unofficial APIs, Selenium, and Appium? I used Selenium in the past for some automation, but IMO currently Playwright is better. Building SaaS is in my future plans if you mean something like that.
