Hey man thanks for sharing that with the community!

I appreciate this. It definitely benefits newcomers, myself included. :) This community and its setup stand out from others in the same industry, which is quite refreshing. As you pointed out, it might be a bit challenging to adapt, especially since English is not my native language. Nevertheless, in line with the forum's sarcastic vibe, I'll give it my all to keep up. ^^

Not entirely new anymore - but reading a lot. What I find to be very useful so far is the sticky notes - makes me more at easy knowing how not to breach the rules in the threads. The other important topic to comment on is the tone in these threads... I like how this thread is addressing this saying it's nothing personal!! Great content!

Appreciate the feedback!

Speaking of sarcasm, after a little bit of reading around, you’ll notice there’s an unofficial tone on BHW. We have a particular sense of humour that has a tendency towards the sarcastic.

Just want to say its my tone as well, be warned 8)

This was very insightful. I'll be sure to browse threads first if I'm curious about something and when I can't find what I'm looking for I'll be sure to give a thoughtful question in the appropriate area!

Just a reminder that genuine engagement with the forum will avoid an unwanted warning for post-count inflation.

Can I post ads or other marketing content on this site?

If you're interested in starting a Marketplace thread, the following steps will provide some guidance:

1. You need to make sure you have Jr VIP or Marketplace seller membership. If you don't qualify for Jr VIP, (you need to have been a member of the forum for at least 60 days and made 100 quality posts) then you'd need to purchase Marketplace seller membership (Marketplace seller membership bypasses the requirements that you need to purchase Jr VIP). Please visit your Account Upgrades page. Jr VIP membership is $147 per year, and Marketplace seller membership is $749 per year. You can pay for your subscription with PayPal, Credit Card or Crypto (you would need to request an invoice from Support if you wish to pay with crypto).

2. You will need to ensure that your account is free from any active warnings, and remains so during the review process, as per Chapter 1 of our Marketplace rules. To check your current warnings, go to your BHW profile (click on your username to navigate there) and select "Warnings" in the tabs. Please note, if you don't see "Warnings", it's because you have no warnings at this point in time.

3. You will need to familiarise yourself with our Marketplace rules and Content standards before submitting a sales thread. Please note, we ONLY accept Internet Marketing related products and services.
4. Once you've done that, you can submit your sales thread in the most appropriate Marketplace sub-forum.

5. After your sales thread is submitted, our Moderators will test the thread for approval. It will need to pass our pre-check, meaning no violation of our Terms and Rules, Marketplace Rules or Content Standards. Once it does, we'd request your top-level package or service for testing. If it passes the check, it will be approved and you can pay for your sales thread before it goes live. Marketplace thread listings cost $30 per thread upon approval and are subject to an annual renewal fee of $30, if you wish to keep your thread live.

Please let us know if you have any questions via our support desk.

Thanks for the info, I'm a beginner SEO and am finding the most relevant learning materials here.

I can't find the board where I'm supposed to post or reply to upgrade as a newbie, headache

Your options to upgrade will be shown here https://www.blackhatworld.com/account/upgrades

If you have further questions, please reach out to https://support.blackhatworld.com/ for guidance.
Thank you for this post; I am a new user, despite having registered in this forum for three years or more, but I was unaware of the quality of the content! ...a busy life

I'm new and having difficulty posting, can anyone guide me?
Please visit our newbie guide summary here https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/s...ter-list-of-all-newbie-guide-threads.1389081/

There are a few threads that might help, for example, A List of Sections With Restrictions | BlackHatWorld and Why do I keep getting spam error messages when I try to post? | BlackHatWorld

If that doesn’t answer your question, please reach out to Support for further guidance.
