Hello,

When you create a Facebook page with the username "page1" and then change that username to "page2", does "page1" username gets free as 2 weeks later like happens on Instagram or that never happens and there is no way to use that username for a new page anymore? Thanks!

I guess it's not available after 2 weeks or maybe for never not sure. I checked many times, and even though the pages don't exist with the required name still i can't create/ use that name when I am creating a new page. I would like to know as well if anyone has an exact answer for this.

No, it will not be available even after two weeks. If a username is once taken by any page and after that if that page is deleted or the name of the page is changed, you can never get its username.

The FB Page renaming feature is always updated about every 2 weeks and you can change the Page name.

If the Page ''page1'' you don't want to use, you can delete the Page and create a new Page with the same name
