How does Etsy compare to Amazon or other marketplaces?

How much is a good ad budget for etsy or how do you attract customers?
I opened a POD tshirt shop a few months ago that sells crypto shirts but only received one sale...
maybe my store does not stand out.
I am very lost on how to capitalize on it.
15,183,904 results, with Ads - this is competition in your niche for the main key query. Without a good advertising budget and external traffic, you have nothing to do in this niche. Even with my skills, it takes 2-3 months to start getting +- normal sales in this niche.

Can you teach how to do the niche resew4ch and keyword research?
There are a lot of educational videos on this topic on YouTube. I don’t see the point in doing something that has already been done before me and more than once)

I have a new store on ETSY where I sell digital products. So far, I've made 30 sales, but things are moving very slowly. My store traffic is really low. How can I get more people to visit my store? Is there a good way to do this? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Dropshipping
Then you have two options:
The first one is just take everything ready, transfer it to Etsy and get sales until your store is blocked, which will happen sooner or later
The second is to take something ready and modify it. The most important thing is the photo, if you take, for example, ready-made product photos on Ebay and put them in your listing on Etsy, then sooner or later Etsy will notice this, to prevent this from happening, you need to uniqueize the photo, or even better, take your own photos goods sold.
I also do not advise selling a product that clearly does not look like a handmade one, and if you sell, be prepared to explain to Etsy how you make this product, as well as prepare a photo of the process of making this product in order to provide all this in case the listing is blocked.

How does Etsy compare to Amazon or other marketplaces?
Since these are a platform for selling handmade goods, then for Amazon I will only talk about their Amazon handmade section.
As for Amazon, there is a much larger audience of buyers, more opportunities for setting up advertising, listings, etc. But the main problem is that handmade products and categories are not displayed to the buyer when he searches for a product using a keyword in the general search. For example, a buyer wants to buy a wooden wall clock, he enters a key query into the search and the results will not show him a watch from the handmade category, so that he can see them, he needs to first select the handmade category and only then will he see a watch from the handmade category . This is the main problem when working for Amazon handmade. You can get out of this situation with the help of advertising, but you need to be able to set it up and analyze it correctly, since without experience you can waste a lot of money and not get sales.
Amazon also has a lot of different rules that need to be followed, for example, the title photo of the product must only be on a white background, you cannot use capital font everywhere, a bunch of different verifications, document requests and so on, so on, so on...

We are a manufacturer of PA amplifiers (audio power amplifiers) and have been doing OEM orders for our overseas customers. Now we want to develop online sales. But this equipment is very heavy, a machine of 3 to 20 KGS depending on the model. The retail price is also high, usually around USD$300 to USD$1000/PC. Could you please advise us if these products are suitable for Etsy? The goods are in China. The target market is North America and the EU. Or whether it be better to sell them on our own independent site(Now we do not have an independent site)? Thank you in advance!
If these are ordinary electronics, the same as those in stores with other various electronics, then Etsy is not for you. If your electronic sound amplifiers have unique designs and you can also carry out personalized orders (design, engraving on the device, etc.), then you can try selling on Etsy

I don’t know what digital products you have, what your niche is, how the listings are designed, what the competition is in your niche, etc. Without analyzing all this, I cannot help you.

Thanks for a great thread!
I have a quite successful legit Etsy store selling mainly digital product and POD.

I started a second store about six months ago, and have posted a few POD listings. No sales and around 500 views in total for this one. Now, I’m planning to start experimenting with dropshipping on the second store, in a careful and smart way.

If my second store get closed, is there a risk that they will close my main store as well that is 100% legit? I’ve not used any proxies etc, it’s just connected to another email address.

By comments, do you mean reviews? If that's the case, write a polite message to each buyer and ask kindly for a review. There are great examples out there, just google and you will find valuable input.

I've recently heard that only Physical banks from the same country as the Etsy store location would work with Etsy!
is that correct? if that is not correct then what virtual banks work with Etsy? i've heard Payoneer doesn't work with Etsy anymore!!

Hi my question is so important, I'm running etsy stealth accounts and couldn't receive a payment (problem from the bank, it doesn't accept mismatch name transfer) so what banks you suggest me to use, and how to create them as most of good banks like pingpong and juni does not accept 3rd world countries!
Thank you in advance

All data for the store must be different - nothing should connect them with each other. If there is some kind of connection, then if one store is blocked, all the others that had a connection with it will be blocked along with it.

To start getting your first sales, you need to work on your store. 1 listing is nothing, just look at how many products are in the search results for your key query, and now think about what page your listing is on. Buyers will simply never find it if you just sit and wait for a miracle))
