Hey guys,

I am curious if anyone is interested in a Image Metadata editor special for Instagram. Before I place anything on the marketplace I just want to know if there's people who need it else I will keep it private. It is especially useful for people who download/scrape posts from Instagram and reupload that to their owns accounts. Instagram adds a lot of hidden data to their files to track people who do this. I saw that there were a few threads about people asking if people have tools for MD5-hash changing, deletion of metadata, etc. But most of the time people use different tools. That's why I made this all-in-one tool for Insta. It does the following:
  1. Delete all metadata and hidden data Instagram adds when you download from their servers
  2. Change the MD5-Hash of the image
  3. Change all times (last access, write and creation time) of the image to the current time
  4. Rename the files
  5. And change the ICC Profile of the image
With these steps the new image looks 100% new to the algorithm. So again this is not a sales thread but this is a thread to find out if there are people interested in this tool.

Greetings,

HQ

Lots of online tools already availaible who do it, so the demand wont be too much in my opinion

Sounds good, but there are lots of tools available. If you make it free on the forum tho, it will increase your popularity and trust around the forum and in the future when you launched another products, people will be willing to try your products...just a thought

I would use a version of this for Tiktok. Does that exist?

I'd be interested in a similar tool for TikTok videos.

People need your tool. Put it in the marketplace and see how they react to the product.

I am interested in this tool, as long as such software or script makes not only images but also videos unique.

Yeah sure same thing instead of images its video's. I'll try to release it next week for free to try and build a reputation on here.
Will that work for Instagram as well? As far as I know, Instagram's algorithm is much difficult to bypass.

Metadata++
What distinguishes this tool from other metadata removal software, such as Exiftool, Exif Data Changer and FFmpeg? Anyway, I have tried both cleaning up metadata and using some scripts to make videos downloaded from Instagram unique. However, once the same edited content was published on the platform, Instagram limited the visibility of those, preventing me from reaching new users. In other words, it is as if the social network marked, albeit not obviously, my content as unsuitable to be shown on the 'Explore' page or in the reel section.

Put your tool to the test. There are IG content filters that automatically remove certain types of content if they think it infringes on somebodies copyright.
Find a picture that gets deleted after uploading the original, put the same image through your tool and see if it does not get deleted.

OK, and can you please tell me where I am wrong? Mine was not a criticism referring to the tools you used, but rather I wanted to understand if there was something wrong with the software I used or if my negative results depended on other factors. At this point, can you tell me what I am doing wrong? I use both the tools I mentioned to remove the metadata, as well as to change the MD5 hash of the reel. After that, I repost the content, but the social network, namely Instagram, restricts the visibility of the content. The same thing happens with TikTok. I am open to any suggestions you may have. I thank you in advance for your reply.

Instagram does not remove my content, but restricts its visibility, preventing me from reaching new users. In essence, it is as if it marks my posts as unsuitable for the reel section or suitable for display on the 'Explore' page. Of course, I do not receive any notification from the platform. How can I solve this problem? Incidentally, I experience this limitation not only on Instagram, but also on TikTok.

They are free tools for this

If you that after it removes metadata it cann post automatically
