Several months ago I converted my website from HTML to Drupal. After the conversion my ranking went from middle of first page of results to several pages down. My GMB profile was in the 3-pack with HTML, after Drupal conversion dropped down to #16. What should I do to regain my ranking? Return the site to HTML? Or will that only make things worse? I should never have converted it to Drupal (which I dislike anyway).

Drupal is a tad heavy and may not be loading as quickly as it was before the transformation.

By any chance did you do any testing in that area?

you've probably messed up the structure of your URLs, this is oftentime a problem when converting sites... Also, as far as I know Drupal is not very optimized and google loves optimized (well, fast anyway) websites, so this might be another reason...

If you restore the website to its HTML format (but EXACTLY how it was) there's a chance that you'll regain the rankings, but it's not guaranteed.

My Google Page Speed Score for Mobile Performance is 74.
My Google Page Speed Score for Desktop Performance is 97.
I'm not a tech savvy guy so that's all I could find on my own.
