What plug-in is this??

Hello, recently i saw a wordpress website that has only picture posts. Everytime you refresh the homepage it shows different posts. Any idea how is that possible??? WHAT PLUGIN ARE THEY USING TO DO SO?

it can be a plugin, or it can be the theme itself. Many good themes have grid / masonry layout display of posts, and if you have 500 posts, for example, and each one of them has a featured image, and if you customize the homepage to show random posts (say, 16 posts in total, in a 4x4 grid) then the theme will show the featured images of 16 totally random posts with each reload of the homepage. It's really not complicated, I did this too for one of my blogs about 5-6 years ago (and it looked pretty cool ), and I actually tend to believe that it's the theme that does this.

But it could be a plugin too, we just can't know for sure until we see the site.... But yeah, you can do it with both a plugin and the theme itself, that's the point I wanted to make...

it makes no difference, it could have been 15x3, or anything else. The point is that you can easily do this with a theme (if the theme is decent enough to allow this), or with any related / random posts plugin that supports grid layout
