I've been seeing low click numbers for a week, and I spoke with Amazon support. They informed me that promotions made through Twitter and Reddit are no longer considered valid, which is why the clicks have decreased, and if I continue to promote from these accounts, my account will be banned. However, every time I talk to Amazon Associates, I get different information, so I'm not quite sure I trust this. Has anyone else in this program been affected by this situation?

Hey were you posting amazon referral links directly or were you sending them to your blog that had amazon affiliate links?

It's risky but you might be able to cloak the link. Setup a dummy wordpress, link to your own doman from reddit and 301 to Amazon. I haven't done it before. So try at your own risk.

Amazon is cracking down on this, if your website doesn't work you'll get ban hammered.

Reddit is fickle man, they click off affiliate blog
Setup a landing page then.

Redirect > When they click buy now to Amazon.

You'll have to test and adjust to see what does/doesn't convert.

Yeah I believe they are cracking down on redirect links.
They 100% are my account manager messaged me to let me know one of my websites was down and if I planned on bringing it back online.
