Exactly what i said. They did great research of their user base/market and executed best available PR/marketing strategy. You'll see lots of people complaining about issues like battery life, price tag, lack of improvements, data breaches, etc., but they will still get in the line to buy new model as soon as it hits the market. Market shaping at its finest.

And don't forget about the good ole scarcity principle.

Understock the stores, so that when people rush in, they'll fight over the lack of iPhone haha brilliant.

The USB Typ C is great to have, when you also use Andriod Tablets or a Laptop with type C.
But they should have brought it with the iPhone 14 already.....

I love what iphones already offer. I don’t need more stuffs anyway. But I probably will wait till iphone 16/17 as I have the 14 model and I am not looking to resale it anytime soon.

I agree. Yes it may be the same or similar but nobody is forcing you to buy it. And I’m not looking for any new features anyways.

Also, Apple is a brand that upports your life. I recently switched and have AppleCare, icloud, etc. yes it costs money but everything just… works…
I never worry about backing up my phone anymore, and never worry about breaking it.
And it all works beautifully, always.

That is not ion iPhone 15 it’s on the high end version and just a gimmick feature.

Also the so called usb-c they’re using is a 23 year old tech on iPhone 15 so not surprised if people skip it for iPhone 16

if you are talking about the base iphone15 then i think it's a good choice actually, the design is probably the same until iphone 17-18 so it won't be old fashioned for the next few year. most importantly is choosing what suitable, not the best. I chose Z fold 5 to handle some of my job and taking note even tho the processor is not even surpass iphone 14 promax

Professional photographers use professional cameras and not iPhone. iPhone is not reference in that field unless you are talking about advanced users that use iPhone for fast checking on manual settings. I haven’t seen any professional photographer doing wedding sets with neither IPhone nor Android regardless of device class.

Exactly what i said - as support not as main device for professional photo shooting. It is true that some of those test images taken with iPhone or Android will end up in a final product but majority of them will be from pro cameras. Please note that I am not shitting on Apple/Android devices but just talking from my POV that every trade has its own tools. Take for example web development - If you like you can create a webapp using an iPad or any other tablet device for that matter, but results will vary a lot (not to mention wasted time compared to classic approach - Laptop/Desktop with proper IDE and accompanied tools).

Not entirely false. They already sell chargers separately. On the other hand, Apple's PR is based on proper research (market/customer analysis) and socio-psychological sales approaches. Not to mention their upselling methods (like chargers and other accessories + icloud).

Major differences are:

Different chipset (A15 vs A16) for base models | 7% faster processor | higher memory bandwidth |
Front camera 12MP vs 48MP
USB-C instead of Lightning port

Just to clear it for everybody - for 99% of end users only noticeable change will be USB-C! On the other hand, difference between 12MP and 48MP will be just for bragging purposes. Why? Human eye cannot see that difference.

iPhone 15 is a minor upgrade over the iPhone 14, with few major new features to get excited about. The most notable new feature is the switch to USB-C.

Not worth upgrading for many users. Older models with lower costs may get more sales.

I think Apple should make a Camera mobile for Content Creators with a 48MP front camera.
