A few days ago i finally got access to Claude2 by using a VPN since im in EU and its not opened up for here yet.

And i must say, Claude2 is way better than ChatGPT. I have been using a paid version of ChatGPT since it came out, and have been very happy for long time, but slowly it have gotten worse and worse, giving suboptimal outputs, slow API reponses and well, to the brink of that im not really using it anymore.

Then i tried Claude2, and i must say the output is really nice, it excels at writing code, i wrote some python scripts with ChatGPT, and ran it through claude and claude instantly optimized it and made them a lot faster and more efficient. The output of claude when writing articles is way longer, more fluid and just sounds better.

So, please dont try claude2 just stick with chatgpt so i can have a fast claude for myself

Maintaining and training the newer models is not easy as seen with OpenAi. Their quality dropped significantly with the newer models.
Haven't checked claude yet, is it a paid service or is there a free version like chatgpt?

Claude2 has been improved in the last week or two. I tried it for code a month ago and it was pretty bad, giving results that didn't make much sense. It was pretty good for other things like reading documents and giving specific details about them. But after your comment I tried it again for code and it was of a better quality. For articles and such I still feel ChatGPT is a bit better, but other than that Claude2 is improving and getting better by the day.

Does Claude2 have an API? It seems they've started limiting the usage for free accounts. I use it for writing articles.

Any information about when it come to india

I disagree, chatgpt is still great if you know how to use it. It has helped me enormously with getting e-books written, with very little imput from me. I just looked at Claude and claude2 and it is good but output is a lot different than what you get from chatgpt.

You may use it with no region restrictions through this site: claudeai.ai

He never stated that Chatgpt was bad, only that it no longer aligns with his preferences. Still cool, but not cool enough for me.

I still have paid access to ChatGPT and their API's, but to be honest, i use claude more now because for me personally it just gives me a better result.

This is not correct. No LLM currently is even close to the level of Chatgpt. And Claude 2 is pretty far from it actually. It's nice if you need to input a lot of words, but that's about it.

Good to hear this new development. I would like to try claude.

Didn't know about Claude2 but you ask to stay away from it politely, I'll do it, you're welcome!

Hi guys, What is your best ai platform suggestion for code? I'm personally not a coder, but I've had to prompt chatgpt several times (45 times) to get the desired code I wanted for my shopify portal. The code was to create a button on the cart page, which will fetch all the cart details and push it to a designated number on WhatsApp. I was successfully able to generate this code and implement it on the site. But running the code with corrections for 45 times is frankly a backbone breaking job. Any suggestions on an AI which is specifically more efficient in writing code?
