Hi there guys!
I'm an affiliate now for hostgator but i have some questions....
They say that they give you from $50 up to $125 per sale.... is this possible?
I've made a website teaching people how to buy hosting accounts for $0.01 for the first month, the site is http://freesite.newdetails.info/
So basically i teach them to make accounts for just 1 cent...but if someone makes it - do i get 50$ ??? there has to be a catch...which is.... ??

there's no catch but if you sign up at commission junction they pay you $100 :)

sign-up for what there? ....i think that i have a CJ account but dont use it since a long time....

CJ have a hostgator offer, which pays $100/lead, instead of the hostgator's $50/lead, this is because CJ get $125/lead from hostgator. Remove your adsense banners, you don't want your visitors to leave, you want them to convert, you should also add in some more links and on the image add this:
Code:

That'll get rid of the blue border.

wow...thanks for that! i have to check this out!!!
as for the adsense - i tought that i will catch those who don't convert but maybe i lose possible conversions.... :|

Fuck promoting hostgator.

I got 30, WHITE HAT commissions -- and guess what, only TWO credited/ i only got $100 this month.
at hostgator???
so they don't pay what they say ?

I get about 12 valid commisions each month, pushes me into the $125 per commission bracket. Thanks to my secret special sauce ;)

Like 95% of your commissions will be marked as "FRAUD", "OVERDUE" etc. For some odd reason i've got $100 for the past 3 months when i've had 15+ commissions for each month, this months PAYMENT (like two months ago) i had 30+ COMMISSIONS and still am only getting paid $100.

They shave like a motherfucker because they can get away with it. So retarded. Id be promoting the living shit out of them if I got what my balance showed (got paid for all my commissions)

Wow that really sucks.. I was really interested in promoting hostgator cause of the high payout, but it did seem kinda too good to be true..

Have you heard of fatcow.. they pay $110 per referral.. but I don't think they have cPanel.

You want bigger commisions?

Here are your mistakes so far as I can see:

1. Yes, you do say that you can give them almost free hosting but you haven't told them that this is a really good deal and that the opportunity to sign up with such a *cough* reputable hosting provider such as hostgator shouldn't be missed. There are many places that provide hosting for less than a cent dude.

2. I can also tell from your copy that English is probably not your fist language. Nothing wrong with your grammar, it just reads kinda stiff. If traffic to this website is not from a country that has English as its first language, it might be a problem.

3. If you are making less than $10/day with adsense I would move it to the very bottom

4. That green box at the top is too big for the text.

5. Get a new domain, .com preferrably or the domain extension of your native country if the traffic is from your country

This may seem like a silly question, but I have had one too many people overlook this in the past with the HostGator affiliate program.

Were all of those 30 white hat commissions 60 days ago?

Because if not, that's probably why you have not been paid. I have been an affiliate with them about 2 years now and never had a commission missed.

Also, the person's account has to still be active and paid for you to get the commission.

They would lose their tale, if they did not have those two stipulations... Many of their users pay by the month.

For further details on the above you can go here:

+ thanks for the tips....you deserve it :)
I will try to make some adjustments and see how it goes....since now i didn't earned any comision but hope i will fast :)....
ps: english is not my primary language....it's not even my secondary language :D

The first post on my blog:

http://investmentnetworking.com/

Basically you can force people to signup under your affiliate if you want them to take part. :)
hope i will force them too in the near future :)

it's basically: "hey, you want to earn money, you get a free website to do so, but you need to use this hosting." Bam, you get paid affiliate fees.

Take your head out of your ass. Your probably promoting the affiliate as a $0.01 host, and then when the people you refer gets their 2nd bill they run, giving you $0.

While I wouldn't have put it as harshly, I agree. You have to also realize that Hostgator allows for Paypal signups, which depending on your targeted country and age group, may not pay that second month off if they haven't earned billions of dollars the first month.

question on your site the place were you must get a coupon from newegg is that suppose to be a link? if so its not working

Suave

I don't really advertise them, but I do get a sale or two each month from just a simple blog role type link. They have always paid and I have never had one listed as not paid or fraud.
