What are Reddit Karma points really good for?

I currently have about 7,500 Reddit Karma points. Is that good or bad? Besides the fact that you can post in all subreddits with this karma score, are there any other advantages? Are there any advantages if you have really a lot of karma points, like more than 50,000 karma points?

More authority. After a number of karma points (low number), you can create your own subreddit. But, again, the authority is the most important you can get from these karma points.

I think you can create your own sub with 0 karma as well.. the age and karma requirements were in the past.

Other than that - the more karma the more your account is trusted and (not sure about that) are more ban resistent.

Redditors don't think outright that you are a bot when you have karma in the upper thousands.

But after some point, it's just overkill. I think 50,000 is definitely is overkill unless you want to sell your account to some influencer type.

It's good for nothing. I developed some accounts with absurd karma and it changes nothing.

Some subreddit have a requirement of karma that u should have before you can post. Accounts with good amount of karma make u have authority and trust with users.

Each surbeddit has a minimum karma/age requirement for posting/commenting. More popular surbeddits are usually more strict and require more karma. A high karma account let you post in most surbeddits with no limit.

They aren't nearly as useful as you may think. They're only useful to let you meet certain subs requirements, which rarely demand that much karma. Other than that you can argue it gives you credit among the community, but i don't think it is anything significant that can help you make money
