Was the site you're refering to sold on Flippa, if so please share the link with us ==> Thanks.A couple of days ago I saw an AI site being sold for $35k, it was built on an expired domain and had 1200 posts. Looked like he started building on it about 10 months ago with an average monthly earnings of just over $1k. However, in July the site made over $4k on Ezoic with 160k mostly organic visitors. The site seems to have sold already.
This got me motivated to start pushing more content consistently, maybe 4-5 articles per day. Won't be able to do much in August however so will have to get started in September. My end goal is not to sell this site, I wouldn't want to sell AI sites to anyone. However, this is a way to really find out the high-traffic keywords in a niche and if the site gets hit I can target them on a manually written website for quick wins.
The traffic is currently steady at 200-210 visitors per day, which in this niche is $1-1.50 per day.
The affiliate site I started about a month ago only has 20 articles, half of which are in top 30 and 3 in top 10 (8, 9 and 10). Not bringing in any traffic but I think I will start building info content on that one as well as the branding is pretty broad.
No it was listed on motioninvest but can't find it any longer so either it sold or the seller removed the listing. Was the site you're refering to sold on Flippa, if so please share the link with us ==> Thanks.
@Mr. BlackhatTher's a guy on YouTube that does massive AI sites about birds in different languages, he's doing really well it seems. Might want to try your hand at some medium sized language like German or French.
Hey thanks for the heads-up, I did not know that. The reason I didn't post his channel is because I feel he's hiding something and I don't want to promote him here. However, I don't think you need shady PBNs and stuff to rank AI at scale, and German/Spanish sites should be easier than English.@Mr. Blackhat
I know who you mean.
Do not believe anything that the guy tells you.
He is old scammer/spammer.
There is a big article about this guy on Google.
He made huge PBN network and that's why his website about birds ranks.
I checked his backlinks, pure garbage.
He may share some tips but that's all.
Can't believe this guy.
I Unsubbed from him
Yes he answered the FAQ about how he made the content and said it was mostly AI. You have the possibility to make an offer to the seller as well so might not have sold for the full 35k, if it sold.Hmm, 35k for AI blog.
I would love to have 35k fall into my account.
Did he mention that the site was AI content?
I always do screenshots of good stuff.
They are automatically uploaded to Onedrive.
I make 10-20 screenshots every day and save like 10 pages a day to my HDD. With 1 click.
Lots of content gets removed from internet and I save whats useful.
Even some journey threads here are saved fully.
How you think Google will live with AI content ?
They make lots of changes lately.
Not sure how this all ends.
Want to open my AI blog too for specific niche
The big AI companies have agreed to fingerprint their stuff (eventually), at that point companies will start being able to more effectively allow/disallow AI content in their indexes. So it's a matter of time.Hey thanks for the heads-up, I did not know that. The reason I didn't post his channel is because I feel he's hiding something and I don't want to promote him here. AI will probably be able to rank for a while, just as scraped and spun content has been for the past decade despite Google updates. Even now it's a bit of a trial and error, as a lot of sites seem to not be able to index properly. I'm more afraid of how search will evolve now that everyone is releasing AI assisted SERPs, like Bing with ChatGPT and Google with SGE. We'll have to wait and see.
Did they update to 4.5 now? Been away for a month so have not been able to work on the site at all. I saw they added some new features but yet to try it. Actually thinking of switching to one of the other AI tools as it's impossible to scale with OpenAI and I don't have the coding knowledge to build my own tool.Have you notice any improvement in the output articles generated by GPT 4.5 over the last few weeks vs when you started with GPT 4 a few months ago?
Good question. In my case there are still major brands dominating the SERPs but it's not at all related to my niche/question. They simply just rank because of their authority I guess. Almost all keywords are in the top 10, but I also have a couple semi niche related keywords with high competition that ranks 15-30. And of course a few that don't rank at all for some reason.I'm late to this but, if you don't have competitors and your niche is so obscure, why you are averaging position 17?
