What do I do with ClickBank?

Huh? Does that mean that you can sell a product for 10$ but if the costumer wants his money back then they take 20$? That's lame. Can they just withdraw from your PayPal like that?

Peter2002, I'll keep that in mind.. Thanks.
YES, Paypal has a reputation for taking liberties with the accounts of their users. They will take out fees for chargebacks and they have been said to hold your money for up to six months if it is "excessive" or unexplained. They are convenient, but there are other alternatives. E-junkie allows you to use Google Checkout, Authorize.Net, TrialPay, ClickBank and 2CheckOut but you might need another soluton if you want to use a more anonymized solution like moneybookers or webmoney. A merchant account is the best solution if you want to keep everything squeaky clean (even though there are anonymous options in regards to that, too) but you should probably start with paypal and diversify after that. The convenience of paypal comes at a price, but most people think it is worth paying - up to a point. The chargebacks "ruined Christmas" for me which backed me into a corner, and the desperation of having to quickly make up for that loss opened my eyes to other options, approaches, methods and gave me an aggressive mindset. If you google "protection from chargebacks" you will get an idea of how important it is to take steps to mitigate the cost of chargebacks.

@OP: I just remembered something that will help you tremendously. Back in December I shared something very valuable that will show you what it REALLY takes to build your IM business and how to do this in only a few hours a day. Study this and you will benefit from it very much.

Greyhat, thanks a ton. I'll definitely look into something like webmoney to replace PP. Thanks a ton for the long, informative post.. Made me think about a few things

Peter thanks a lot for the tip, I will be sure to look into it. However I think the link is dead.. I'll find a way once I get home, unfortunately I have to travel for many hours today but I will be back tomorrow.

I really can't thank you guys enough for all this help. And phew it's annoying to write on iTouch :-P

i've only ever made 1 sale on untargeted, cheap-as-hell traffic and i had to send about 5000 hops to do it. ppv especially sux because everyone hates popups. go with targeted traffic and make the 'net a better place :)

Okay, will keep that in mind.. Of course PPV is targeted, but you're right.. People hate popups a lot. I'll stick to bum marketing for now and then actually get things done. I'm in a train right now, and I will be home in some hours, so I'll start tomorrow for sure.
