To stop Scrapebox, you can close the application or end the process from the task manager on your device.

As noted above, you can force kill it with task manager.
on keeping the links if you go into the scrapebox folder >> plugins >> expired domain folder >> auto save
the links are all saved in real time in the auto save folder.
As for why its needs to be force killed in the first place, scrapebox is dependant on the OS (pardon my terrible spelling) and it something outside off scrapebox has locked one or more of the threads. This is often security software, but can be a router or any other 3rd party software interfering. So make sure you add an exception for the entire scrapebox folder in all security software, and whitelist in your router (if possible) and then you can try closing down any non crucial software as well.

To stop Scrapebox, simply close the program using the X in the upper right corner.
There's a scrape box in colab I have hardly ever use it, it has page index, and just scrapes garbage into a file, ahh it's interesting how it works, but ahh the results I'll leave to question.
