I'm not very active on the forum, but I've been reading and trying things out.. and what makes me question it isn't the hours of viewing, but the subscribers.

it's also easy to pay to have them, but the real problem is the ones that will come from other niches. if your channel is music, and if the new subscribers are directed towards technologies, they will only add a number, because in the views they will not add anything or almost nothing. (Am I right??)

another example is that if the channel is about culture and history of brazil, and the subscribers are asian....

You are right in what you say, but unfortunately, what you want is only possible by redirecting from a similar channel.
