Drip feed is how many days you want your links to take to get indexed.

If you have many links you want indexed and the website is new, it is best to have a longer drip feed time. If the website is established and has a wide range of backlinks, it would be ok to do 1 day.

Slight correction. Instead of number of days to index your links, It is how many days to process your links. After processing google takes it's own sweet time from few hours to few days (Ideally 7 to 12 days) to show the links.
