Will it be able to make any impact or dent Twitter or its just gonna coexist and skidaway from main market.

Flopped too fast . It gained so much sign ups just because it was easy to sign up via Instagram directly.haha

it's just extension of instagram feature. not new SM.
i dunno why they decided the need to brand it as new app, maybe to scam some investor of their money. since it's new app they can got new funding

Scam what investor? Facebook makes billions of dollars per year and have a huge team

I've said it before and will continue to say it. Threads is nothing more than a vanity project for Mark's. It will be shut down within 2 years.

and you forgot how much they burn in the meta project.
Facebook is a publicly traded company so what investor are you talking about? They already have been making tens of billions for years now and buy up a lot of companies for a reason. You claimed they are trying to scam some investor/investors. Facebook dealt with that loss already I suggest you look at their profits they made last year and how much money they made this year so far then look back at your original comment.

well, it's similar when politicians propose new projects, to get new funding. and show that they are working and put some progress.
you show the public you build a new project that success gains a lot of users in days, giving out a positive sentiment for people to purchase their stock to push the price up. despite the fact, all those new users are basically just Instagram user using threads, as thread is basically just an extension the function for IG.
maybe calling this a scam is excessive. but basically, making new feature for ig to be a whole new APP, and putting it up as new brand is just excessive.
well this just my opinion

Now this I agree with and don't get me wrong, I cannot stand Facebook or Mark Zuckerberg for that matter. I have no interest in Threads either to be honest.

If Threads doesn't introduce new features in the future, it will be difficult for it to overtake Twitter.

Threads will suffer because most of its users are from Instagram, who don't know how to communicate with text. They see Threads as another platform to repurpose the same content.

+ The Threads feed is terrible right now. I barely log in or I usually just repurpose my Twitter content.
