Journey to make $100/day from IOS & Android apps

Update:
Google play:
Last month's revenue: ~$800, which will be paid out in 2 days.
This month: Already made well over $500, because my dead app started picking up crazy after some keyword optimizations.
3 apps are live on google play store.

Appstore:
last month only made around $60, this month we are on ~$30, have only 1 live app on appstore, development is taking too much time, but will be listing 2 new apps in the next month as the development is nearly done.

Looking to run ads on apple store, as the conversion rate on apple store is way higher, it's weird you can get more installs on google play and terrible conversion rate but the apple store is the opposite, terrible installs and way superior paying customers.

Current daily revenue: ~$50

If anyone knows No BS apple store optimization guide or resources, please share.

Thank you

Where / how you get ideas for apps?
Like when you start from 0?
For me finding niche/app idea is the thoughest thing ever.
There are so many apps made and published and it kinda feels that what new I can invent if there is literally everything made.

3 apps on play store. But are they different or reskinned?
games or utilities?

It depends on your goal, are you trying to make money now or trying to follow your "passion" by creating amazing apps? for me I am doing it purely for money, and I 100% copy currently successful apps, all the apps I made are copies of existing apps.

Different apps, we develop them from scratch using Kotlin, all utilities. games are too much of work for me, never tried them yet!

Hello! in what niche do you make applications and for what purpose do you make them, only money? orr are you also interested in the product itself?

Both, I make good products that help others, and in turn they pay for it because it's helpful, for them it's a tool, for me it's money. all my apps don't work without in-app purchase, many angry freebies but we only serve people who are willing to pay for our hard work.
I don't get emotionally involved in the apps I make, some people call their apps "my babies", personally I don't even know mobile development. I just hire freelancers on Upwork.

Did you try Unity? You can export for many platforms.
No, currently Kotlin on android studio is our stack. I am hiring mobile devs, android studio is what I am comfrotable with. because I compile the apps on my own to avoid google associating me with other companies because these freelancers work for different companies...etc
I thought Unity is for game dev though, no?

Warm congratulations Hard work and patience always pay off

What problems does your app solve?
That's the million dollar question :), but think of anything useful, for example there are people who are insecure and want to track their partners, there are many apps offer this functionality. I personally know somebody who was at it's peak making more than $40k/month out of his single app, but before I get to it, WhatsApp decided to shut this feature off so only your recent contact can know if you're online or offile, if it's not shut down I would be making an for tracking your partner through whatsapp status...
This should give you an idea of how I approach this business.

Good luck on your journey! Can you tell me what kind of business app you've created and what it does?

How much do u pay freelancers per app?

@IOS passive
Im about money always, no passion as such to make these apps..

So you copy successful apps and make them better?
Or pretty much the same?
I assume you cant copy them 1:1.

Do you add functionality or just redesign (new colors, new layout) and upload with same features?

First off, congrats on your journey; you are having some level of success!

Second, I don't know much about the process involved in making mobile apps so a few questions if you don't mind:

  1. How much do you spend on the freelancers, and how long does it take to finish a single app? I see the rates on Upwork are anywhere between $35 per hour to $90 per hour and above . Does that mean lots of hundreds of dollars just for one app?
  2. What exactly do your developers do? Above, you said that you copy other apps. So do your workers kind of reskin them? Again, how long does it for an Android app?
  3. For someone who knows absolutely nothing about programming /coding /compiling, would this be a viable venture?

Thanks in advance. Good luck!
